just 19 days in jail for thousands or crore scam - sound like a good deal. but if a small time thief get caught he will be jailed for atleast 3 years
This made me realize , no matter how high and mighty you might get as per your achievements , roles, designations , if you are corrupt to the core , you'll keep on fueling you're greed and it is never going to reach its full, its a slippery slope.
Tell me a name who is rich and famous but not currpt and dishonest. Only with corruption and dishonesty , they become great, and to whom common man looks with fear and respect.
Perhaps this incident was blessing in disguise for ICICI bank as they got sandeep bakshi as their CEO, a truly banking hero

Bisbo channel has very good content and narration. I believe the explanation for lack of views/subscribers is because the content is very late in delivery i.e Eg: Chanda koccher issue is not new and pretty old, viewers would have already known the issue in detail by now and may not watch it now. May be making videos on latest news/events would be a big boost to the channel. I hate to see good content not being reached to a much larger audience.

Board members looked the other way so they could keep their jobs. In theory, board members are supposed to keep the CEO in check, but in reality it works the other way around and the CEO & other top officers staff the board with yes men so they can draw big salaries and bonuses, and in return the board compensates themselves well too.

By the way Raghuram Rajan when he was an RBI governor forced all banks to come clean regarding their NPAs. Earlier on banks were following a shady practice called ever greening where they gave a lot of loans to willful defaulters, bad projects just to pass the buck and not declare it as NPA. RR restricted this and forced banks to be more transparent about the extension of loans. Its in his book, "i do what i want to do".
This means that not all of the NPA growth under kochar can be attributed to her, however there's no denying that all the scams, kickbacks and shady dealings all are evident of malpractice on Kochars part irrespective of the actual NPAs she caused.
