Great channel. Question for ya.....I have the fluval 406 filter (predecessor to the 407) and want to give it a refresh in parts since I'm moving it to a different tank. Do you know if the 407 rim connectors will work for the older 406? I can't find the a replacement rim connectors specifically for the 406. If you have any input I'd love to hear. Thanks!!
That's a great question!! This was the first fluval filter I got so don't know too much but we gonna get the new sponge filters and carbon all that, that goes into it maybe once we do that I can make a another video on the process
How long did it take for it clear? I just started my tank and got one of these filters today! It’s been on for 6 hours and still cloudy! Any video update?
Yeah we just connect the tubes to the canister and plug it in, make sure it’s in the right one (if the tubes are crossed it won’t work) check the in and out tune sides
@@OrdinaryCaptain The instructions say not to fill it up with water and not to plug it in until it's full. I have worked up a sweat priming the dam thing and is not filling up. Trying just plugging it in but nothing.
Yeah it feels up with the tank water, the gray handle, you push and pull that down. Push the red lever and gray ones down not sure what to call it but those go down before pumping the water into it

Well we put the filter in at night and in the morning it was clear we also have stuff to make it clear I forgot what it’s called exactly
Missed a couple of steps I think. No priming? You just put the tubes in there then plug it in?
