    Totally normal for it to feel more nimble, FM Onewheels tend to have a softer and softer response the more you get on the edge of the tire, which makes turning a bit harder and digs the nose in more on edge rolls. On VESC, it really wants to accelerate out of turns and stays just as solid on the edge of the tire, so it keeps up the nose much better and has a much snappier response while turning, making it feel more nimble.

      For the moment i'm using the basics from the float package with just some minor tweaks to my preference.
      If you're not already i would suggest downloading the float package and play around with that

      Not hard at all, i did buy a full kit so it came pre assembled in a controller box. For me it was just plug&play.
      Not sure if you decide to fully build it yourself
