I have to say that I was really enjoying this video until I got to the spirituality part and the spiritual experience you had in Salvador de Bahia. For you to create a scenario of demonization because number 1. You started to question God, Christianity, the history of Christianity and how violent it was as a black person for you to be introduced to it RIGHTFULLY SO is strange. @@Ariventuras because the way you correlated learning about Afro Brazilian spirituality and seeing statues to demonic forces coming over you…. A lot of blk ppl since the beginning of colonialism have been killed for their practices and for you to literally verbalize the same anti-black rhetoric that westerns have over our practices is very problematic. You keep saying spiritual attack, you literally were saved from a potential aircraft crash, praise God instead of putting blame to "spiritual attack”. If you were Amsterdam’s or London and that happened with a plane, you’d probably call it "a close call” and praise god and keep going…if you were in ROME looking at statues of gods and goddess, and you were “strangely” drawn to them you probably wouldn’t associate it w/ spiritual or demonic feelings. most organised religions are new [less than 2000 years old, whereas homo sapiens are 200,000 years old]
and are taxdodging boysclubs that teach kids to hate "others" and girls n gays [xenophobia, homophobia, gynophobia is spread by the church, popes, for example, are all billionaires, the corruption is insane]
Thank you! 😁 yes, there's much to unpack when it comes to organized religion. At the end of the day, everyone's spiritual journey is unique and something they must figure out for themselves. I hope you find courage to still take your solo trip!

Sorry for your bad experience in Rio and Salvador. It was also very uncomfortable watching your story. To the point I am kinda sad right now. 😢
Oh no! I’m sorry it made you sad. I know others who absolutely love Brazil. It just wasn’t a good fit for me 🥲
❤🎉
🎉😁
Rio is amazing. But your biggest mistake was to stay in Lapa 😂 not the best place.
Yes 🫠 I learned that the hard way!
@@Ariventuras While Lapa is indeed known as a popular tourist destination with its vibrant nightlife and cultural attractions, it's also true that some areas may face cleanliness and homelessness challenges. Like many urban areas, it has diverse aspects. It's essential to acknowledge tho that Lapa is full of drug addicts roaming around, a problem that people should be aware of before visiting it. It didn’t surprise me that the place you rented didn’t have good beds and wasn’t clean due to being in Lapa.
Wow! I feel you!So sorry this happend to you❤ I've always wished to vist🇧🇷. I just discover your channel and love it ❤❤❤ As someone who grew up with santeria. I don't doubt you. I was once attack in my dreams. I prayed so hard and it went away. I heard from someone who knows about this stuff that Brazilian spirualty is very dark!!! I know people want to think that everything about Afro spirituality is good but is not always the case!! Orishas are no bueno!! Solo hay un Dios.😢 ❤❤❤
Yes, I agree. Not every religion is a good religion, especially those that worship idols other than God. I appreciate your empathy and I'm glad you found my channel 😊 I still hope one day that you are able to visit Brazil and have a much better experience than me. Thanks so much for watching! ❤️❤️
I think it’s very problematic to pose one religion above another when people ultimately practice their ancestral beliefs to keep their culture alive. Choose whatever you want but do not insult African religions, we started humanity.
@@Ariventuras What an ignorant way of thinking. I'm not a follower of candomblé or any African descended religion but i still can respect the fact that my ancestors before me still found ways to practice their traditional religions despite all that came with slavery and colonialism.
You're awesome,, de donde eres?
Gracias 😊 I'm from the US
Hey what do you do for work?
