The attache case shows there are 32 spots so I believed that was the exact amount of charms the game has and from what I've gathered I'm missing 3: .Soldier w/ stun rod .Ashley .Don Diego But what I'm confused by reading this comment of yours is the Legendary Iluminados Emblem charm. I DO have the epic one and got it more than one time, you're certain this legendary version exists? Would be very grateful if you could give me that insight Also, I think you confused the name charm called Don Manuel, there's no charm with the name Miguel i think, the names are kinda similar so I can see the confusion
Try these combos silver,silver,gold then try gold,silver,gold then try silver,gold,silver. Let us know results because I'm thinking different combos give different results. Also I noticed playing on professional was giving me more high value charms rare and legendary see if difficulty matters.
I really hope that the community finds a way of RNG manipulation so we can reliably get whatever charm we want, but I feel that this may take time given that the charm loot pools are specific to our save file, somewhat randomized, and reset in NG+. It'll make speedruns a heck of a lot faster though if they can RNG manipulate into getting the striker charm.

no way this actually worked. im on my ng+5 play through and tried the one gold token two silver token and in 4 tries i got the striker charm. i really didn’t think this would work. thank you honestly!

Literally got nothing but ammo crafting charms for my entire first play through.. only cool one I got that’s sort of rare I think is the knife and body armor repair charms lol. I WANT THAT RUNNING SPEED CHARM SO BAD!
Good stuff, thanks for updating the video after the last one. I've been mapping out these tables myself since learning how it really works. I don't seem to have the striker on my current playthrough I've gone 10 rows down in each column now
I suppose you could save up some spinels and buy as many gold tokens as you can afford and try again later on (then reload and get your spinels back ofc)
I think the charms should just be a set reward for getting certain achievements at the shooting range. Like if you get A rank or higher in the first level of the shooting range you get the minor handgun crafting charm. Just replace the tokens found in the game with spinels or just make them sellable.

This is the best explanation I've seen of this, and short of RNG manipulation that may be discovered at some point, this is probably the best route to take. Thank you. Also, based on what you said, it sounds like the tables get randomly seeded whenever a new game is started, and that seeding is saved.
im already at chapter 11 and so far got S rank on all shooting ranges , gotta say yeah its pretty hard a bit but not impossible , get a bit fast sensitivity and practice a single challenge few times , don't rush on shooting hold still so your accuracy becomes 100% and some targets need a special moment not just shot within 1sec of spawn , good luck to you all strangers🗿🤝
This helped a lot! I had 24 gold and 24 silver and first mapped out all posibilities. For me, the striker was behind the 7th gold-gold-gold combination.
So what i’ve understood so far…: 1- The moment you start a new playthrough or a new game+ ( and from the moment Leon starts narrating his experience back in raccoon city and the missions that almost killed him up until the last shooting range in chapter 14 ) the charms i get are predetermined and no matter the order i put the tokens in will always be the same? 2- The charms you can get are ever-changing meaning every time you start a new playthrough, you’ll get different charms than what you got in a previous playthrough. 3- Save file means the save that takes place before starting a completely different playthrough or just a save that happens at a typewriter? 4- In order to get all 32 charms, one must play multiple playthroughs to acquire them? 1. Yes because the rewards are seed based meaning the rewards for a particular seed will always be the same for that particular new game. Reloading your save or putting in the tokens in a different manner will not get you any different rewards. The only way to switch to a new seed is to start a new game or new game+ 2. Yes, for the reasons i stated above. 3. Not exactly sure what you're asking here but if it helps you understand, a save file on a particular playthrough will have a different seed then a save file from a different playthrough meaning different rewards. 4. Yes because you cannot get enough tokens in one playthrough to use the gacha machine that many times even if you had the luck of the gods and every single use resulted in a new charm every single time.

Oh you uploaded new video awesome :). I recently got the infinite rocket launcher and chicago sweeper now all i need is the striker charm so I'll try ur method and hope for the best and thank you :).
Here's the best strat for charm farming (NG+ if you're trying to get a full set): It all depends on the seed you get when you start a new game. I would say, play a game from start to finish where you do the shooting range to the best of your ability, but spend no coins. Expanded treasure map (DLC) will get you more coins too. Save end game, start NG+ (on anything other than Professional, you'll need the auto saves). Just run. All the way to the first shooting range. Having an infinite weapon helps (I can get there in 15 minutes). This is where you can check your seed, and make sure you don't do a typewriter save. Start with triple Silver, then triple gold (write down your winnings if you won't remember). Now, reload your auto save, and roll Silver Silver Gold, write them down. Reload again, roll Gold Gold Silver, write them down. This is your seed. From here, you should be able to decide how best to spend your coins. If this seed is a wash, use your typewriter save and start over. I did this, and it saved me doing multiple entire playthroughs. Strangely the most elusive mother !@#$%^ for me was a common (Soldier Stun Rod) that I didn't get until my ELEVENTH playthrough. But this strat saved me doing up to 14 playthroughs, as it took 3 more seeds to get that last charm.
how many coins minimum would you say are enough to start the process? and how many coins are to be sacrificed, for the lucky charm we want, in your opinion? like is it worthy 20 coins for one charm, or is it a bit of a waste and it worths a new shot to get it with less lost coins?
Map out all of your tales and work it out from there, knowing what you've got and have coming up is the only way to do it reliably. I've completed the set twice, both times I did it in 2 playthroughs.
Thanks to you guys, I was able to get the Emblem, Beetle and the Striker on my 2nd playthrough. I managed to get it after using 3 Gold coins on my 11th turn/attempt. I guess my goal now is to collect all 31 charms 😅
@@Squared_Phoenix turned out the save I did it on had really good top draws for what I needed, except the Striker rip lol, though I did pull it on my first playthrough
I was honestly curious about this. Got to the first shooting range, and put in 2x3 gold tokens and got the same charm, but 3 silvers and I got a rare charm. It confused me a bit, so this helps make sense of it. ^^
i will give this a try, i am in my 5th run and i am sitting at 15 charms so far, it is so annoying to get the same ones over and over again, i have 7 freaking don pedros

@@Squared_Phoenix it was Leon’s Charm where you can get a discount on the rocket launcher. I was unlucky since I had to keep making a new game plus 3 times but I finally end up getting it on my third. For me that was the easiest method instead of playing through the whole story again

I really lucked out on that merchant charm. Mind you I knew nothing about the tables etc. So that charm made my first playthrough manageable, but pesatas aren't hard to get. If anything, I'd saying getting small resources was rare, but may be in part of the case I had.
I definitely lucked out in my first playthrough, not knowing any of this. First 5 rolls were Ada Wong, Ashley, Merchant, Ada duplicate and then Illuminados. That's when I stopped and tried to learn how it really works

Question: If i start a new game plus, rush to the first time i can use the tokens, map everything and my rng is bad. Can i start a new new game plug using that same finished save and will that be a new pool of rng?
I've not tried it personally but I've had someone else mention to me that they were on their third reset and still trying. So I would say yes that's one way you could do it Leozera Dev ^^
I experimented with cheat engine, giving myself hundreds of each coin, and it seems like there really is no rhyme or reason to the charms you get. It certainly is based on seed generation, but mixing and matching coins doesn't seem to have any real potential to narrow your results with any form of consistency/reliability. I've gotten strikers first try with 3 gold, 3 silver, 2 gold, 2 silver, etc etc on different save files. I don't think there's any formula to follow, unfortunately.
This video kinda helped, but honestly to gain every charm i honestly needed 96 gold coins and 87 silver. I did every possible combo and wrote down each reward. Took all of my coins to gain every charm. For me, the striker was the most expensive, 27th roll on my GSS combo.
Charm buffs *do* stack, but you can't use duplicate charms. So Handgun Ammo charm + Soldier w/ Hammer gives you an effective +50% handgun ammo craft bonus, but I can't get +60% by equipping two Handgun Ammo charms (if you could even get 2 Handgun Ammo charms) because I can't equip duplicate charms. That also means, sell any dupe charms for the paltry money you get for it.
This has got to be the ONLY criticism I have about this game. Sure, if it was just random, you could cheese it by save scumming, but the solution to that problem they chose was pretty bad lol. Considering that identical charms don't stack, you are destined to waste tokens at some point or another (if you're going for all of them), and they sell for like 500 pesetas apiece? Kinda crappy if you ask me. Thanks, though, for mentioning that scores reset on NG+. I've been grinding the courses for a while like a madman trying to get the highest score I possibly can just for the extra silvers you can get (mostly out of a sense of completionism 😑). But now I see that that's a waste of time as they'll disappear lmao. Thank you! Edit: as a side note I feel pretty damn lucky. My fourth pull from the gacha machine was the Striker charm =)
They work on every mode but they're save specific. So they carry over to NG+ but if you start a fresh new game (not NG+) then you wont have them anymore ^^
Late to the remake (blame Elden Ring), & almost done with first run. Haven’t spent much time on the shooting range (will give it a bit more time on ng+), but will say I got the Ashley green herb charm & that was from 2x blue & 1x gold charm.
Standard difficulty, no preorder bonus, here's my pool so far (first run ever, second shooting range in the castle, no NG+ yet) I'll say before hand i also have a don jose, JJ, chicken and the epic emblem but i didn't checked my specific combinaisons the first time, even tho i tried all 4 possible (3S, 2S 1G, 1S 2G and 3G). 3pts : 1-don esteban 2-dynamite soldier 3-dr salvador 4-fanatic with a crossbow 4 pts : 1-Isabel 2-Hammer soldier 3-Hammer soldier 4-Isabel 5-Don pedro 6-bella sisters 5 pts : 1-Maria 2-chicken (had it from before) 3-Fanatic with a Scythe 6 pts : 1-Hammer soldier 2-don jose (had it from before) As my pools seems pretty bad and i already have quite nice charms, i think i'll bank my tokens for the NG+ !
Sounds like a good idea, I agree that so far that is a pretty poor rewards table. Maybe give it one more check before heading into the NG+ with a load of spinel-bought gold tokens? Either way GL with the charm farm ^^
I thought getting charms are randomized??? I mean when I quit and continue, the charm spawning would be different but stays the same. Know what I mean?
Yeah Noddisneylover that's how it works, it's set once you start the game and won't change until NG+. Mapping out your rewards tables like I did is the best way to go ^^
I get in my first too but i just make a new save game because i cant get back in factory cuz i missing rat quest, did i need make a new save game too ovwr again to get that back? 😔😔
Nice video. Its helped me get some commons i wanted as my gold token loot tables are trash trash trash full of commons somehow after i got striker rocket leon and body armor ada early.

I know I got my beetle charm without using 3 reds. Obviously I used those first, but I believe I got it with 2 blue, 1 red, or 3 blues, but it may have been 2 red, 1 blue. Maybe I'm just confused.
The charms could of been really cool if more thought out and better implemented. Have a loot system that decreases duplicates and increases epic and legendary with gold tokens. Also more charms like a tmp charm that increases stagger chance when shooting the knees or a Hunk charm that increases the speed of knife finishers etc Thanks for putting in the time to break this down.
Very true, I thought with the 3 strikers grouped together in my video it'd be obvious that I was saying that you can't equip multiple of the same charms. I'll double check my wording in future ^^
I only want Sanic speed in RE4. It will be forever be out of grasp which makes me sad. I did get the striker pretty early though so I was dodging things I dont think I would have without it.
If i have 3 legendary tokens,i save game at type writter,then use those 3 tokens and after i got a charm from the mashine,i load the previous save and try again,is it always going to be the same charm no matter what or is it stilp based on chance?

So if my save file now gives me teddy bear for my second 3 gold. But I want to get the striker so I save my gold tokens for later. Will my new save files that I make later in the game change the order in which I will receive the charms? Or is it set for the whole game, and only changes in a new game + save file. If so should I just take the teddy charm and keep trying other combinations to get striker since I may just not get any legendary charms later ?
Reloading saves with tokens doesn’t do anything for me, I’ve reloaded twice and got the exact same tokens I pulled the first time around before I reloaded save
I 100% the shooting gallery on PS5. Just hit all the pirates, and do your best first round then second round hit all the skulls and if you hit some sailors it wont matter.
Im wondering if the seeds come in a list format, hear me out. For example you get say 5 chances to roll for a charm right. Rolling the 1st try lets you know what seed youre on. Then say you want the teddy bear charm that requires 3 gold but is say 4th in the token group its on, you can throw the next 2 tries with just silver tokens then use 3 gold for the 4th try to guarantee the teddy bear charm.
I've rolled in different orders and the 4 tables have remained the same regardless. I kept my tokens and rerolled each table at each gun range and in different orders and the outcome was always the same ^^'
I got an epic teddy bear charm that reduces the amount of gunpowder by 1 required to craft. It doesn't seem to be on the charts. Wonder how I got that... there must be some weird rng going on or something.
Hi Emeldy, your rewards tables are specific to your save file so you'll have to do what I did and map your own ones out. Nice luck on the Teddy charm though, it's one of the rarest ^^
I'm kind of confused by this. Has someone made a table of each seed that shows what's available within your particular run? Or is it completely random each time and there's no way of knowing without feeding a bunch of tokens, writing them down, and reloading the save? Honestly, the only one I really want is Striker, all the other ones are pretty neglible after you've stacked a bunch of money and items over the course of 8+ replays. I already have all the green herb ones too.
To my knowledge nobody has figured out how to manipulate or predict the seed yet. It's just a case of mapping out your own 4 loot tables and using them to pick out the rewards available to you. Hopefully the Striker drops for you soon Nameless Dread GL ^^

Just got it today on a new game professional mode on my first shooting range and it definitely makes a difference in gameplay and maneuverability
Got the merchant charm on my first go and knife Leon 12 silver later. Possibly the best charms to get for your first playthrough

I suppose you could save up some spinels and buy as many gold tokens as you can afford and try again later on (then reload and get your spinels back ofc)

I think the charms should just be a set reward for getting certain achievements at the shooting range. Like if you get A rank or higher in the first level of the shooting range you get the minor handgun crafting charm. Just replace the tokens found in the game with spinels or just make them sellable.

Randomized drop tables are way cooler.

Also, based on what you said, it sounds like the tables get randomly seeded whenever a new game is started, and that seeding is saved.

im already at chapter 11 and so far got S rank on all shooting ranges , gotta say yeah its pretty hard a bit but not impossible , get a bit fast sensitivity and practice a single challenge few times , don't rush on shooting hold still so your accuracy becomes 100% and some targets need a special moment not just shot within 1sec of spawn , good luck to you all strangers🗿🤝

So what i’ve understood so far…:
1- The moment you start a new playthrough or a new game+ ( and from the moment Leon starts narrating his experience back in raccoon city and the missions that almost killed him up until the last shooting range in chapter 14 ) the charms i get are predetermined and no matter the order i put the tokens in will always be the same?
2- The charms you can get are ever-changing meaning every time you start a new playthrough, you’ll get different charms than what you got in a previous playthrough.
3- Save file means the save that takes place before starting a completely different playthrough or just a save that happens at a typewriter?
4- In order to get all 32 charms, one must play multiple playthroughs to acquire them?

1. Yes because the rewards are seed based meaning the rewards for a particular seed will always be the same for that particular new game. Reloading your save or putting in the tokens in a different manner will not get you any different rewards. The only way to switch to a new seed is to start a new game or new game+
2. Yes, for the reasons i stated above.
3. Not exactly sure what you're asking here but if it helps you understand, a save file on a particular playthrough will have a different seed then a save file from a different playthrough meaning different rewards.
4. Yes because you cannot get enough tokens in one playthrough to use the gacha machine that many times even if you had the luck of the gods and every single use resulted in a new charm every single time.
Q3 - Save file means the save that takes place before starting a completely different playthrough or just a save that happens at a typewriter?
A - What I mean is for each playthrough your loot tables won't change at all, they're set until you click NG+ or start a comletely different game from the start.
Q4 - In order to get all 32 charms, one must play multiple playthroughs to acquire them?
A - It could be possible to get them all in one playthrough but you'd have to be very, very, very lucky. It's going to take almost all people more than one playthrough ^^

Here's the best strat for charm farming (NG+ if you're trying to get a full set):
It all depends on the seed you get when you start a new game. I would say, play a game from start to finish where you do the shooting range to the best of your ability, but spend no coins. Expanded treasure map (DLC) will get you more coins too. Save end game, start NG+ (on anything other than Professional, you'll need the auto saves). Just run. All the way to the first shooting range. Having an infinite weapon helps (I can get there in 15 minutes). This is where you can check your seed, and make sure you don't do a typewriter save. Start with triple Silver, then triple gold (write down your winnings if you won't remember). Now, reload your auto save, and roll Silver Silver Gold, write them down. Reload again, roll Gold Gold Silver, write them down. This is your seed. From here, you should be able to decide how best to spend your coins.
If this seed is a wash, use your typewriter save and start over. I did this, and it saved me doing multiple entire playthroughs. Strangely the most elusive mother !@#$%^ for me was a common (Soldier Stun Rod) that I didn't get until my ELEVENTH playthrough. But this strat saved me doing up to 14 playthroughs, as it took 3 more seeds to get that last charm.
how many coins minimum would you say are enough to start the process? and how many coins are to be sacrificed, for the lucky charm we want, in your opinion? like is it worthy 20 coins for one charm, or is it a bit of a waste and it worths a new shot to get it with less lost coins?
Map out all of your tales and work it out from there, knowing what you've got and have coming up is the only way to do it reliably.
I've completed the set twice, both times I did it in 2 playthroughs.
I'd say 50 as a start but you're going to need more to complete the collection^^°

I managed to get it after using 3 Gold coins on my 11th turn/attempt.

I was honestly curious about this. Got to the first shooting range, and put in 2x3 gold tokens and got the same charm, but 3 silvers and I got a rare charm. It confused me a bit, so this helps make sense of it. ^^
i will give this a try, i am in my 5th run and i am sitting at 15 charms so far, it is so annoying to get the same ones over and over again, i have 7 freaking don pedros

I really lucked out on that merchant charm. Mind you I knew nothing about the tables etc. So that charm made my first playthrough manageable, but pesatas aren't hard to get. If anything, I'd saying getting small resources was rare, but may be in part of the case I had.

I definitely lucked out in my first playthrough, not knowing any of this. First 5 rolls were Ada Wong, Ashley, Merchant, Ada duplicate and then Illuminados. That's when I stopped and tried to learn how it really works
I got the teddy bear one that makes crafting everything cost 1 less gunpowder first playthrough. Seems small but it was a big deal.

I experimented with cheat engine, giving myself hundreds of each coin, and it seems like there really is no rhyme or reason to the charms you get. It certainly is based on seed generation, but mixing and matching coins doesn't seem to have any real potential to narrow your results with any form of consistency/reliability. I've gotten strikers first try with 3 gold, 3 silver, 2 gold, 2 silver, etc etc on different save files. I don't think there's any formula to follow, unfortunately.

This video kinda helped, but honestly to gain every charm i honestly needed 96 gold coins and 87 silver. I did every possible combo and wrote down each reward. Took all of my coins to gain every charm. For me, the striker was the most expensive, 27th roll on my GSS combo.

Charm buffs *do* stack, but you can't use duplicate charms. So Handgun Ammo charm + Soldier w/ Hammer gives you an effective +50% handgun ammo craft bonus, but I can't get +60% by equipping two Handgun Ammo charms (if you could even get 2 Handgun Ammo charms) because I can't equip duplicate charms. That also means, sell any dupe charms for the paltry money you get for it.

This has got to be the ONLY criticism I have about this game. Sure, if it was just random, you could cheese it by save scumming, but the solution to that problem they chose was pretty bad lol. Considering that identical charms don't stack, you are destined to waste tokens at some point or another (if you're going for all of them), and they sell for like 500 pesetas apiece? Kinda crappy if you ask me. Thanks, though, for mentioning that scores reset on NG+. I've been grinding the courses for a while like a madman trying to get the highest score I possibly can just for the extra silvers you can get (mostly out of a sense of completionism 😑). But now I see that that's a waste of time as they'll disappear lmao. Thank you!
Edit: as a side note I feel pretty damn lucky. My fourth pull from the gacha machine was the Striker charm =)

They're infinite but the tokens aren't, so yeah there'll be certain runs where some charms are unobtainable

They work on every mode but they're save specific. So they carry over to NG+ but if you start a fresh new game (not NG+) then you wont have them anymore ^^
Late to the remake (blame Elden Ring), & almost done with first run. Haven’t spent much time on the shooting range (will give it a bit more time on ng+), but will say I got the Ashley green herb charm & that was from 2x blue & 1x gold charm.

I know I got my beetle charm without using 3 reds. Obviously I used those first, but I believe I got it with 2 blue, 1 red, or 3 blues, but it may have been 2 red, 1 blue. Maybe I'm just confused.

The charms could of been really cool if more thought out and better implemented. Have a loot system that decreases duplicates and increases epic and legendary with gold tokens. Also more charms like a tmp charm that increases stagger chance when shooting the knees or a Hunk charm that increases the speed of knife finishers etc

Sorry buffs do stack just not matching charms. You cannot use say 15% and 15% handgun or other ammos but you can use 15% and 20%.

So if my save file now gives me teddy bear for my second 3 gold. But I want to get the striker so I save my gold tokens for later. Will my new save files that I make later in the game change the order in which I will receive the charms? Or is it set for the whole game, and only changes in a new game + save file. If so should I just take the teddy charm and keep trying other combinations to get striker since I may just not get any legendary charms later ?
Reloading saves with tokens doesn’t do anything for me, I’ve reloaded twice and got the exact same tokens I pulled the first time around before I reloaded save

All you have to do is playing mercenaries get in all 3 stages rank S by using Leon or any character u want but only use 1 character
I 100% the shooting gallery on PS5. Just hit all the pirates, and do your best first round then second round hit all the skulls and if you hit some sailors it wont matter.

Im wondering if the seeds come in a list format, hear me out. For example you get say 5 chances to roll for a charm right.
Rolling the 1st try lets you know what seed youre on. Then say you want the teddy bear charm that requires 3 gold but is say 4th in the token group its on, you can throw the next 2 tries with just silver tokens then use 3 gold for the 4th try to guarantee the teddy bear charm.
I've rolled in different orders and the 4 tables have remained the same regardless.
I kept my tokens and rerolled each table at each gun range and in different orders and the outcome was always the same ^^'
Does the charms that give the similar effect bonus stack, (ex: Ashley 50% + green herb 15% + leader zealot 10% = 75% heal bonus from green herb)?

Hi Emeldy, your rewards tables are specific to your save file so you'll have to do what I did and map your own ones out. Nice luck on the Teddy charm though, it's one of the rarest ^^
I'm kind of confused by this. Has someone made a table of each seed that shows what's available within your particular run? Or is it completely random each time and there's no way of knowing without feeding a bunch of tokens, writing them down, and reloading the save?
Honestly, the only one I really want is Striker, all the other ones are pretty neglible after you've stacked a bunch of money and items over the course of 8+ replays. I already have all the green herb ones too.
To my knowledge nobody has figured out how to manipulate or predict the seed yet. It's just a case of mapping out your own 4 loot tables and using them to pick out the rewards available to you.

Hi Steven, unforauntely it's impossible to say at the moment. Eventually we might know how to predict the rewards tables but I doubt that will happen any time soon. If that changes I'll definitely update you though, in the meantime your best bet is to map out the rewards tables like in my video. GL with the charm farm
don't know how many times I put in 3 gold tokens in a row and still get trash rewards, and a lot of them are same. :(
