It was an early Christmas present for us because no one knew it was coming! That was less than 5 months after The Search album was released 😲 The Mixtape wasn't released until March 26, 2021 (which was, fun fact - 4 days before his birthday). Some of his in between albums singles are not on any of his albums at all, so I think he probably put it on there as a Christmas present for us and to give people who haven't heard of him a nudge to go farther back into his catalog. So YES, it's DEFINITELY before Clouds the Mixtape in the NF Journey timeline, and it's 🔥🔥🔥🔥 especially when you know the context behind it and who he's talking to.
Please check out one of his real early songs called “Your Grace” from his Moments album. He sings the first two verses and raps the third verse. It’s a very good song
