I think the low divorce rate in India is primarily due to the lack of freedom that women have plus show society views divorced women in India and not because the marriages are working. My thoughts.

There's choices in front of each individual, these are there to make a decision from the choice to choose from..... so deciding from whatever choice or choices coming from outside, aren't your choices, all you have to do is make decisions. So decide the best choices for your experiences in life. And knowing that you will always have other opportunities to rectify decisions from outside choices which are no longer needed helps. The main reason why the divorce rate is so low in India is that under the Hindu law both partners have to give consent in order to legally divorce each other . So many estranged couples prefer to separate rather than divorce for that reason.

By experiences I could declare that problems before or after marriage which ever way it may be arranged, yet till there is no third party's issues or interruption the marriage definitely be happier each day or years and so on.
Love him…really question though the idea that more people staying married = marital institution is working. That said, I do see the validity of how arranged marriage works well for a lot of people.
