And Buddha was a Hindu. Thank the Universe for the Dharmic religions and their adherents. ... It is the Abrahamists and Atheists who are the problem in this world.

I've done several things in life to provide for myself and a family. I made choices to do these things. Not thinking of how importantly they affected the lives of others. I did them purposely and with joy. I'm not enlightened, I'm not a guru. But I have touched other lives and helped them with their finding joy. I'm older, still living joyfully and my life is what I want it to be.

All my life i struggled wondering why ppl place the value they do on money and their jobs. I dont understand superficial dreams. I dream of having money to share. I want my good deeds to support me. Not a job. Ive never kept a "job" for long periods of time bc my heart wonders off. I follow my heart and it always takes me to new skills but nothing is permanent

Yes, I know it should be as you say. Earning a living should not be the main concern of a human beeing. But this can apply only to whom's father was a doctor or something like that, comes from a whealty family, had a good education, had the money to start his own business, always knew that will inherit enough to have a roof over his head and a confortable life. For whom, like me and hundred of millions of other human beeings that never had any of that, earning a living was the main concern since ever. I was concerned about survival way before I learn to talk and walk. You know, a dead body don't become conscious...

I think often teens don't know what direction to turn when they leave their parents home. Survival seems like the most important next step so choose something to earn money. What if society had another path during this uncertain time while the teen learns where their heart pulls? I wonder how we could raise young children to be better prepared to follow their heart's calling when the time comes for them to fly?

This works if you choose to not have a family to not have kids. Living kn your own and making enough to survive.. when you have more mouths to feed and put clothes on them and offer them the even basic human things then yes earning a living becomes priority. So it does not apply to anyone. Should I just start working part time instead of full time because i just want to have more free time to focus on me? Then how am i gonna pay for the roof under my sons head and his food milk clothes .. how? I can survive on just bread and water but my child?? Sorry but this is not realistic thinking.

I feel what he says is to objectively look into yourself for some time. Forget everything else. And it's only a limited amount of time for which you have to look after your son. It's all maybe just an insight into a jail we all live in. Then again your statement is also practical. Something which is difficult to debate and maybe only you know the answer to how to take care of your family in the terms of "earning a living".

Dear, I liked what you said n understand your pain...survival is important bcoz many humans beings are still reptiles in nature but if you.i are truly human you need to break thru everything.. it's not easy.. but please don't give up.. you will one day take care of your kids n you will also make sure you will involve in to Sadhana too..
Just be with Guru, he will make it happen effortlessly..

Actually man is extremely greedy. No one earns just to have the needs of self and family. They want to keep earning and possessing a HUGE bank balance and unlimited luxuries. Isnt it true that educated people make lots of money at the cost of the environment

    • @TaeKook-xf8md
      @TaeKook-xf8md 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

I kinda agree to. Also the whole concept of "you should take care of ur whole family" should go. It just burdens one. If everybody just earned enough for themselves and saved enough for their old-age, then money wouldn't be an issue

If you don't earn a living you don't live and get another form of consciousness. Remember the requirements of life is what he means. Don't try to earn more than you need.

Wise words, but at the end of month I need to pay rent. I don't have the capability to live freely like an ant in nature. So what is th solution?
I also can't earn a living with one little finger and for that I had to study many years. I don't want to earn more than living a simple life, but even that is not possible.
I didn't get a straight answer from this video!

Every Man has a divine right to pursue his own journey and happiness however he wills. To project on somebody to supposedly enjoy suffering and homelessness and starvation and mental suffering and anguish Anything less would be hurting harming neglecting and destroying that person and their lively hood and essentially their life. Take it from somebody like me personally doesn't feel good. You got a problem with anything that I say that pertains to that well you're not a nice person or a good person.

Listen. The reason why we focus on earning a living is because its absolutely necessary. Grocery and health care not free. Its easy for him and any other yogi to dismiss our needs because they dont have to earn.
Sadhguru has people working and making money to run his organisation. He doesnt work and earn. No Yogi ever did. They live off others labour.
Be careful cuz he tells people dont parent their kids. So kids should have hatched from an egg.
And as usual his followers dare not question him. Smh
