Pat. The nut that you were trying to loosen to install the brace is not a standard nut. It's a nut weld to the retainer plate to keep it from spinning. You weed to remove the bolt not the nut and nut plate. These nut plates are made to ease assembly. There is no longer a need for two wrenches. The reason your car is sitting higher is because it has not settled after being jacked up. You can drive it around the block or just bounce the car to get it to settle. Bouncing is hard to do with a prowler that has had the bumpers removed as the is no solid place to push. Just drive it around the block and you will be back to normal.
Thanks Larry. I talked to Bob Longstreth recently (when I brought him your trailer reinforcement kit) and he said maybe sometime I could bring the car over to his lift and we could try the brace install that way. I just didn't feel safe doing it with just one wheel jacked up. What is weird is that when I have lifted the car in the past, I don't recall this extra height after the car dropped back down because I could not roll the jack out from under at the front jacking point without hitting the body work. Like I noted in my video, I just let it sit overnight and it returned to normal on its own.
great video,....you need to slow down a little and enunciate a bit more, as the speed of your voice kind of becomes muddled. It may sound a little weird as you do it, but it will make things better for the viewer.
Yes I understand i need to work on that. I've always been challenged to not mumble when I speak. These videos are the first I have ever done, and I had to overcome the awkwardness of filming myself. Yup. When I jack my truck up it stays high for a short time until the suspension compresses

Get a better jack one that lifts car equal
