I bought 2 Tamiya Hornets and lots of parts at an estate auction for $2.00 and got them running. Sold them on Ebay and made good money for them. Tamiya car are good starter RC's and the old ones are collectable as well.
@@Okpaintguy2 You are right I started with a Koysho Ultima and a Tamiya Fox back in 1987. Then I bought a Koysho Ultima with a J-Car Direct Drive Tranny and won 3 place at TNT Raceway in Spencer NC in 1989
Looking forward to my EVO arriving. The postal strike here has really messed things up. It's finally over but it will take time to get things back on track.
@@FastFreddyRC I’m glad they have got back on track for you guys . I can’t wait to get into this kit but I’ve got a few projects ahead of it . Thanks for watching !
Enjoy the Hornet when you have 5 minutes to get to it 🤣 I’ve used Humbrol Enamel paint on those 3 piece wheels before and has held up well. Also used a self priming Enamel spray can from a hardware store worked as well. The spray took days to fully harden though.
They did a really nice job with that packaging. Should be a fun one!
@@drone336photo Tamiya always have to good presentation. Can’t wait to dig into it .
I will definitely be ordering a shirt and some of those stickers. Hopefully it goes well and we can get some with cars you’ve painted on them.
Awesome thank you ! Yeah If this goes well I would love to have something new every few months or even weeks.
