It IS definitely an early version of "L.O.V.E. Machine", not just sounds like it. All of the bands prior to W.A.S.P. were like steppingstones that led to W.A.S.P. - so it's cool to get to see this kind of stuff to see what went on prior to it forming.
@@metalnuutti476 I'm 49 and love *W.A.S.P.!!* I got to see them several times back in the late 80's... That decade was the best for this kind of music... The whole reason I became a Bassist... I just read up an article that Chris Holmes is the one who helped rewrite this song to become that amazing song it is today! With no credit, may I add!
Sixx was never in Circus Circus ! It is Joey Palemo or Palmero on Bass! the drummer would've been in wasp but he went to do the Iron Butterfly gig instead. Jimi Image is on drums! R.I.P. Jimi, Jan.2017 :(
@@johnstrika9170 walks around on stage like Costa that’s for damn sure! Sixx and Costa pretty much had the same stage moves back then and Nikki Sixx still does the same moves to this very day.
This is great thanks for posting this. Most WASP fans know that Cries in The Night from The Last Command is an updated version of Mr Cool, on the B Side of the Men Man 12 inch there's a song called For Whom The Bell Tolls (nothing to do with the Metallica song of the same name) which would later get partly recycled as The Gypsy meets The Boy on The Crimson Idol album. A few other examples i can't think directly of. However lots of bands do this, not to knock AC/DC who i am a massive fan of, but they are about to release an album called Power Up which consists of songs written by Malcolm Young (RIP), now i have ordered the album and at time of writing it's due to be released within a few days so i've only heard 1 track which is pretty good. But my point is i'm preparing myself for disappointment, you could argue that every AC/DC album since Back In Black has had 2 or 3 great songs, 2 or 3 good songs, and the rest are OK/Filler leaving half the album as filler. So not to put too fine a point on it, if Mal and Angus wrote songs that DIDN'T make it onto the last 2-3 albums then you'd imagine the songs will be filler. Back to this - really happy to see this posted here, big fan of WASP seen them at least 5 times live since 1991 so this is great to see the evolution of what would be 2 really good WASP songs
Blackie Guzman that is his real name from tales from the stage book. And supposedly he would fine chris holmes if he acted out of line or didnt play the songs exactly
Chris Holmes reworked the song into what it is on the first album. Chis Holmes turned WASP into a rock and roll machine. Too bad Blackie is a selfish punk . Still the albums rock. I was front row in 84 at an Ohio show. Love WASP but miss Chris and Randy.
Blackie still thinks he's Johnny Thunders NY Dolls stand-in with the Les Paul Jr and moves in this video lol Chris Holmes was right, he reinvented this track into a great song. This version is ok, but nothing special.
OMG. it stinks! Dark, dumb and poorly arranged. I was at the Troubador during Blood Drive as WASP put it together and yes Chris Holmes and Tony had much input- thankfully. I never knew of this version until now.
Chris Holmes sent me here. Gotta say he is 100% right. The song became soooo much better when it was changed. 😅
Same here, and I agree
Absolutely!
Me too
I was just listening to that interview and came right to this video after it was over to see how it sounded and yes, Chris made it better.
Me toooo

I love Sister and Killer Kane and Circus Circus . I'm a huge fan of Blackie Lawless and WASP. ❤
Same here
Awesome Metal is Ageless
Blackie Lawless is the alarm clock of metal armegeddon, dude is a genre all to himself.
Awesome vintage footage for Blackie lovers! and W.A.S.P fans. Wish I was there to experience the birth of L.A Glam/Hair Metal.
I'm only 17 and I love WASP and Blackie Lawless. ❤

I'm only 17 and I love Circus Circus and Sister and Killer Kane. I a huge fan of Blackie Lawless too. WASP Forever ❤
Second song is an early version 9.5. Nasty.
what a trip - both sound and lyric wise - glad someone posted this - Thank you!

Is it Palermo or Don Costa? I know Costa is credited on the demo.
Joey Palemo died too he was shot in a drug deal gone wrong

What do you think of that AC/DC album now?
You sure can hear that W.A.S.P sound even then❤
Came here because Chris Holmes sent me!! SO much better with his introspection and LL..OO..VE .......
Joey Palermo is the bass player, not Nikki sixx
Click bait
Obviously..this bassist can actually play live 😂
@louiebones I agree.. the bassist is Joey Palemo
Thank god chris fixed this song
wow now this is old,,,,
song #2 sounds like an early version of 9.5 Nasty
They pretty much are a large progression compared to Lawless's other bands the New York Dolls and Killer Kane.
Бля! Быле времена - и эти Боги играли в полупустых залах! твою же ты мать! Крутые парни! Вот бы с ними вмазать!)))))))))))))))))))))))
ахаха Из России с любовью)))))))) приятно слышать такое от соотечественников))
Not N6 on bass, looks like Don Costa, the way he would "photo bomb" behind Blackie can be seen in other old vids.
Nikki never acted like that onstage.
@jirimar agreed, the verse part is definatly used in 9.5 nasty
I see a bunch of incorrect titles listed here. The 2nd song is "TEAR DOWN THE WALLS".
Tear down the walls was an early version of 9-5 nasty
First song is called L.o.v.e. me and it's obviously an earlier version of L.o.v.e. machine. Some parts are even better imho.
Blackie writing a song to himself. Hahahaha
Blackie Guzman that is his real name from tales from the stage book. And supposedly he would fine chris holmes if he acted out of line or didnt play the songs exactly
His real name is Steve Duran. Guzman was a stage name as well.
Opaquedivinity 1 Steven Edward Duren ☺
Chris Holmes reworked the song into what it is on the first album. Chis Holmes turned WASP into a rock and roll machine. Too bad Blackie is a selfish punk . Still the albums rock. I was front row in 84 at an Ohio show. Love WASP but miss Chris and Randy.
The second song is not 95-NASTY but a song called "Raising Hell in the Streets".
No it's not "95 - Nasty" but it must be a song written that eventually got re-used in order too make "95 - Nasty"..
Blackie Lawless a born showman,, fantastic live or recorded W.A.S.P we are sexual perverts..I believe is what W.A.S.P.stands for as the legend goes.
WASP stands for Where Angels Suffer Purgatory.
Definitely not We All Should Pray, lol.
We are satans priests is my favourite.
W.A.S.P. ….We’re All Steven’s Puppets lol
Blackie’s real name is Steven Edward Duren.
All the girls I knew, who slept w/ Blackie said it stood for "What A Small Penis". 😂
los mejores y punto
Wow, sounds so much like Love Gun by KISS.
I could be wrong, but I'm pretty sure that's Joey Palermo on bass, not Nikki Sixx. Sixx was in Sister, but he wasn't part of Circus Circus.
Sixx was NEVER in Sister. Joey was the bassist in both bands
Joey had a car accident...Jimi was in Iron Butterfly later..Nikki WAS in the band later...
Nikki wasn't a member of Circus Circus.. Joey Palemo was the bass player....
This is outstanding! Does anyone know the year and/or venue??
79
❤👍
caralho, que diferença
Any idea as to what year/venue/city this was from?
79
LA
second tune sounds a bit like 95 nasty
The second son is Tear down the wall
The second one is called "Ten on the wall"
Tear down the walls 😝
Tear Down The Wall".
nikki sixx?? omg..Where did you find that ????? It's not just rare...I think !!
He lied for views
What are the words in chorus?
The WASP version where the guitars fade out and it's bass and drums for the verse is much better then this band way of doing it
all thanks to Chris Holmes.
what happened to that guy joey? does anybody know/
sounds like a kiss song
Any idea where this was filmed? Troubadour? Starwood?
Starwood - Sunday night short sets .
What year was this?
That is 100% NOT Nikki... might wanna change the title
Is here Nikki Sixx or Randy Piper??
@independentjames1 i love them both but NIKKI is the MAN!!!
Blackie still thinks he's Johnny Thunders NY Dolls stand-in with the Les Paul Jr and moves in this video lol Chris Holmes was right, he reinvented this track into a great song. This version is ok, but nothing special.
Lol, Chris said that this sux
Nikki sixx never been in that band
For me this is the better version...
Clickbait bullshit putting Nikki Sixx in the title. You don't put misleading shit on the title and call it a 'tag', that's not how it works.
OMG. it stinks!
Dark, dumb and poorly arranged. I was at the Troubador during Blood Drive as WASP put it together and yes Chris Holmes and Tony had much input- thankfully.
I never knew of this version until now.
ya this was trash till criss fixed it
