I must have used some cheap painters tape for the rooms that I painted in my house. I got bleed though which was aggravating, and patching the holes in the walls was a disaster because I used to much spackle on the first fill.
I should have taking painters 101 from you first Mr.Mike !! Thanks as always for sharing, God bless

Oh man bleed through after you've gone through the trouble of taping everything off is so frustrating! I used another brand in a pinch and had the same results🤦🏽‍♂️🤦🏽‍♂️
Glad the video was helpful! God bless sir and thanks for being part of the channel!

That is a pretty paint color. What color did you use

Thank you very much! The color is silver drop on the walls and polar bear on the trim. Both of the colors are by Behr.

I have oak trim that is getting really beat up and some water stains. Should I be able to use this method to paint? Also my room doors are a type of wood. Can I paint those?

Yes you can paint all of that. I recommend first applying two coats of general finishes stain blocking primer (let it cure 24hr for maximum tannin blocking) then go over with your paint of choice.
You mentioned water stains. Make sure those aren't from a leak or the paint will eventually peel off.
      Hope that helps!

Do I have to sand out any scratches or will white paint cover? Thank you for your info! I just found you and you are so helpful.

That's kind of a "it depends answer". I would fill any dents and deep scratches with the filler I used in the video. Light scratches will be ok and likely be filled/hidden by the paint.
Thank you so much! Glad to have ya here😃

I told i was never going to become a professional painter because i tear mine off in sections to get it perfect everytime, except along baseboards and door frames then one continuous piece but never do i use one piece of continuous tape around the whole room, youre just asking for mistakes then
