I need to check mine (ZX14R) and also have a 2-up configuration. What goal were you going for on yours 35mm front and 35mm rear? It feels comfortable how it is now, but I ordered this so I can double check, and also my SV650 that I am giving my lady I need to adjust it for her.
I did notice the bike settled quicker after traversing over bumps and potholes, but this also made it so that I felt more road imperfections. The adjustments made the bike a bit more "communicative" instead of the floaty/bouncy feel I used to get a bit before adjusting the sag.
Your bike should have came with a C spanner for adjusting that rear spring. But if not they are really cheap on eBay… i would invest in one… but otherwise very informative video.. thanks for posting
Thanks for checking out the channel. My 2022 didn't come with the OEM c-spanner in the tool bag. I've heard some manufacturers have in the past, and maybe still do provide this. But it appears none of the last few model year Z900's did. I agree it would be nice to have the tool - I'd just need to confirm exact fitment/compatibility of the tool and my bike. There are a lot of them out there...
Thanks for the video…nice to see from a real perspective ✌🏼I’m planning on getting one.
Sure thing. Thanks for the feedback and for checking out the channel!

Some guidance I found recommended between 30mm-40mm. I've also seen 35mm-45mm. I was shooting for anything between 35mm-45mm.
I fell asleep while watching this

Could you notice any ride difference after the adjustments?

Great tutorial! I'm sorry if you mentioned this in the video, but what is your weight?
Thanks. I did not mention my weight in the video, but I'm 185 lbs. Even with my weight, I still had lots of preload to add if needed to the rear.
