I had a bear kill count of 1300 when they went to the dark side, and I gave up my grind. Thanks to iBUY and this video I modified my setup and kicked off again, 470 bears later I have a G1 in my lodge. I honestly never thought I would return to the bear grind. Thank you.

Yeah, it changed with the dog dlc that dropped. There are a couple places there on that hill you can still place a tent. They are just a little bit of a pain to find. In my discord in the hunter call of the wild chat there is a picture of where you can place it now.

I've also found if you shoot a lower level bear in the four Lakes and shoot a high level bear out of the zone it swaps the bears if you don't claim them and go back to your home menu.
question about whitetail ... i had a zone with 3 males and 1 female and i shot all the males. now that zone only has that 1 female and the males aren't respawning. did those males go somewhere else and now the zone is dead? should i shoot the female or just leave this zone alone now ? thanks !
The males did go somewhere else and you have to find them. Any time that you have 3 bucks and 1 doe zone. You always have to leave at least 1 male and 1 female there or it will go doe only always.

If you have tough spots that you cant see through grass, you can move back far until the grass renders out. Or you can try using the caller, that is what i do. It helps a bit. @@vapesmoker8738

For bears yeah. In fact the only difference really is that they drink during the daytime. With a drink time of 4-8 for the most part, everything else should be the same. The respawns for bears seem to be working well also.
Absolutely. So with herds it can mess them up, and break your male respawns in that zone. And also create new zones. With bears, they are predators. So solo respawns, they bounce to other areas when you shoot them. It allows more males to be able to potentially respawn in that spot.

Have you ever counted your bear population on silver ridge? Like how many males and females exist? I know each map will be different by a small margin.
Not sure what to do once lakes are “primed” all my main lakes have 6,7 and 1 8. And my exteriors have all the females. Do I shoot the smallest males on the main lakes now?

Cool stuff but I am wondering right now if the game might be bugged because I been dealing with it I would hit a male and get a no organ and yet hit a female in what looks like the same spot and get a vital I don't understand why
I don’t think there are any new bugs on them. But they have had a weird thing where the animation was behind the actual hit box model. Like sometimes you shoot and to you it’s standing there normal. But the hitbox shows it standing up.

Hi ibuy ive been following you for a little bit and im currently working on a black bear grind. Im on srp and ive shot down my exteriors but evry few rounds i keep getting smalll bears on my main lakes. im probably 3000+ kills in and im not getting any diamonds and still no great one. i dont want to give up but im really confused and not sure what im doing wrong because im doing what you and lady says in your guides. got any tips? thank you for your amazing content!
You will still get small bears to spawn on the 4 lakes for sure. But if you are over 3k without spawning diamonds, there is definitely some larger bears out there hiding somewhere on your map. It seems after the last change for the bears they tend to bounce out a bit more too. But you should be able to get out there and find them. Even a 7 or 8 out at another lake can really effect the diamond spawn rate. I hope you can find them, and i hope this little bit helps!
This video is fantastic! Although is the step about killing all bears 4 and up around the map necessary, it’s just that I only got SRP yesterday so it would take me ages to do that.

It depends on what you have on those 4 lakes. If it is all small bears, you will have low respawns. If you get lucky and have a good group of big bears, it might work out for a little. They can and will still bounce out from these lakes though.
Did you glitch the tent and tripod stand placement at the west end of the first lake? I tried placing both for about 30 minutes in the exact same spot and couldn't get it to stick. I kept getting either "slope is too steep" or "try placing over open ground."
No. When they did the retriever dog update it changed the terrain there or something. I had to run around that hillside for awhile to find a new place to put one down.

Hello I Buy. I've never really got into grinding but do frequent the same areas quite a bit. But today I have decided to change all of that. I'm going to take your's and Lady's advice and try to start a grind on Revontuly Coast. But I was hoping you could answer a few questions for me as I'm getting started. I'm starting off with Whitetails but was thinking about trying to do moose and maybe Brown Bears at the same time so I wouldn't be resetting the time so much and maybe would relieve some of the hunting pressure at the same time. Or do you think I'm just biting off way more than I can chew. Another question I have for you is that when you're grinding for a G1 do you stack your diamonds like some of the other people do? I just feel like you're the one I trust the most on this subject. Thank you for this awesome video!❤❤❤
Hey! Yeah so Revontuli whitetail are really good! As long as you are hunting a minimum of 8 zones, shooting 2 per zone your hunting pressure should be gone when you get back to the first zone. Setting up moose can work, but it’s a a lot of work. I would maybe stick to just one species since you are just starting out. And yea I do stack my diamonds as well. It just makes it faster to shoot the rest of the map down.
There is a new place to put it over there. When the dog came out, it changed that mountain a little and we had to find a new place over there to put a tent.

I dont think there is a set number. If there is, i have not noticed. I just notice if my bears at the 4 lakes are a lower amount, and then i run around and find where they went. By doing that, i notice sometimes that some lakes have a tendency to eat respawns.
The video helped me so much starting BB grind, but i do have 1 question... do you hunt the other lakes or check them and every now and them hunt them or do you have them in your rotation to hunt and those 4 lakes are the main that will spawn the g1?
I mostly just rotate the 4 lakes after they have a good amount of bears on them. But if the bears start to seem like there are less there. I will go around and check the other lakes again.
So I’ve been doing a whitetail grind on Revontuli, I’ve been consistently visiting essentially all of my zones (getting through about 1/3 of my zones per rotation) my initial plan was to leave the 1’s and stack diamonds.. would I be better off condensing my grind to fewer locations?
Does the not killing any animals at 4 lakes work for moose on new England or whitetail on layten lake bc me and my friends need help getting set up for great ones but there are no videos to help us
No, those you definitely have to be shooting. I did some really good collab videos with LadyLegend. They explain most things really well. I also do have a NEM moose video.

No. All levels still spawn there. But if done properly, you should get a lot of high levels at these lakes.

Nope! That little 5th lake I leave. I only shoot females from the main 4 lakes.

It won’t even let me spot them with my spotter scope so I can’t even get a shot off

Are all the bears single zones?
Yes they are. Even though you see multiple bears at one drink zone. they are all solos, that happen to use the same drink zone.

It is pretty necessary to go around. You could shoot like 5 and up. The difference wouldn’t be to bad. It still requires a lot of shooting.

Killing the zones happens when you kill the bears. They are solos. So the zone deletes when you shoot it. It’s ok without tripods.
At Lago da Silves Trail you have a cabin on a mountain, how do you put it there? I've been trying for two days and I can't put a cabin there
There is a new place to put it over there. When the dog came out, it changed that mountain a little and we had to find a new place over there to put a tent.

The video helped me so much starting BB grind, but i do have 1 question... do you hunt the other lakes or check them and every now and them hunt them or do you have them in your rotation to hunt and those 4 lakes are the main that will spawn the g1?
I mostly just rotate the 4 lakes after they have a good amount of bears on them. But if the bears start to seem like there are less there. I will go around and check the other lakes again.
So I’ve been doing a whitetail grind on Revontuli, I’ve been consistently visiting essentially all of my zones (getting through about 1/3 of my zones per rotation) my initial plan was to leave the 1’s and stack diamonds.. would I be better off condensing my grind to fewer locations?
I personally do condense down to main grinding zones. It’s much more efficient. But really, however you enjoy hunting is what you should go with.
How do you know when you need to stack level 9’s, thank you for the video
You dont need to stack them for bear. Just try to get levels 6-9s in those 4 lakes. It helps a lot with grinding.
Do you think bear great ones gets effected by herd management?
Everything gets effected by it. If you shoot bigger animals most of the time, you have more chances at better trophies.

Does the not killing any animals at 4 lakes work for moose on new England or whitetail on layten lake bc me and my friends need help getting set up for great ones but there are no videos to help us
No, those you definitely have to be shooting. I did some really good collab videos with LadyLegend. They explain most things really well. I also do have a NEM moose video.

Doesn’t matter. I usually start on the main lakes and then move out. But you can do it how you like.

My tent on the lake with the rocky hill( furthest left out of the four lakes) keeps getting the beaver issue, any way to fix this?
That came with the dog dlc. The map changed a little there. Or the rocks did. I don’t know exactly. But there are a couple of places to place a tent there still. In my discord in the call of the wild hunter chat there should be a picture of where the tent can be placed.
My drinks zones say 4-8 for black bear. This new or bug?
Nope that is right. Not a bug. The update awhile back moved black bear drink time to the day.
I cant for the life of me figure out where you put the tent on the first lake. i have been running around the area you show for over an hour and cant find a spot to put my tent down
I gave up. literally going crazy trying to find a spot anywhere on that hill to put a tent down.

Hey is there a sertain method to placing the top left tent at the fifth lake It doesn’t let me place it in the side of that mountain where u have it placed
It changed when they released the dog update. They changed something with the rocks there. In my discord there is a new picture for where to place in the hunter chat if you can navigate your way there.
