    I just started watching these series and this first video is the kind of things you don't find even trying to pay a course in Udemy. Thank you for sharing this for free 🙏

    People are not talking enough about how good these two beginner series are for people starting. When I began with Houdini I was struggling to find tutorials that would help me understand all theses concepts but the 'beginner' tutorials would go ahead without explaining any of this (or atleast in this detail) and if I had known of these Nine Between playlists at the time it would have made things much easier. This needs to be publicised more in the community.

      hell yeah, 99% of beginner tutorials go straight to the vex without explaing , only Nine Between explain VEX and Voxyde VFX Show how to use VOP instead of VEX

  • @Staglaitor

    Some experts say that visual programming is the future (nodes) because visually you can understand (cover) a more complex algorithm. Question to the author of the video: Can I use visual scripting in houdini without VEX and other obsolete programming methods at all or is houdini still dependent on old technologies and visual sciping is not yet fully developed and has limitations?

    • @NineBetween
      @NineBetween  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi, Houdini has an entire toolset for visual scripting. They are known as VOPs and can do everything that code can do. Although, I disagree that programming is obsolete, as visual scripting is just a wrapper for coding when they're truly one in the same. The difference is simply a matter of preference in houdini.

      From the physiological and cognitive point of view, graphic information is perceived faster than alphabetic verbal information. It is also necessary to add sound information to visual information

    If i learn houdini without vex is it possible?
    I mean can i create all things by houdini without vex?

    • @NineBetween
      @NineBetween  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hey Muhammad, yeah, you can definitely use Houdini well without VEX. There's a lot of professionals who don't use VEX. The alternative is VOPs. It's a visual way of scripting. You can search for VOPs tutorials. There's a VEX vs VOPs tutorial on our channel if you wanna check it out.

    Houdini is very forgettable, 3D softwares are my hobbies and I loved Houdini, But once I've stopped and tried to continue. I needed to rewatch everything.

    • @Tehmora
      @Tehmora 3 ปีที่แล้ว +10

      I think it really depends on how much you actually practised. For example, you just said it was a hobby, so maybe you didn't use it as much as you think was needed to remember it. It's the same with any software, really.
