My bestie was in this flood! She was five then and the rain on Friday in Australia 2021 she was crying so hard!
She was in the camo truck!

I will never forget the moment that Pricey came on air and said the spill way was fully opened I never slept that night fortunately my partner and I were not affected by the flood waters by some miracle the water stopped near the Vale hotel and stocklands I felt bad for those who lost everything I drove past the evacuation centres it broke my heart seeing all those people in there

I’m looking at buying in Townsville. Which are the least prone flood suburbs? Tks.

I was in the floods and helped house some friends. The flood was terrible.

NOW IS THE TIME TO SELL A HOME IN TVLLE...talking to an agent, they said a home that was on the market before the floods, was listed for 450k...a buyer that had their home flooded offered 100k more than it was listed due to another interested party...sold for 550k..now is the time to sell unflooded homes in tvlle....

I lived in Mundingburra 1979-80 next to Ross River dam wall.It floods every year. But, all this new development along the river I notice is ground level one and two storey houses.Just like in Victoria.Sorry, but stupid big developers have won out on this one.Climate change ain't getting any better.Sell! Anything along rivers banks will be worthless. Also Thuringowa is flat as.Floodprone.Again developers have made money and moved on.The old Queenslander design still stands today.Built for tropical zoning back in the 1800's.

My sisters lives there one room the shed and all the backyard was gone and the fences were flooded she lives in the river so they was a current in her back yard btw I’m in Kirwan I can’t wait for school

Sorry bout your sister.Really should consider moving to higher ground.Possibly cooler as well. These heavy bursts will become more common.Victoria and NSW are getting more of these too.A lot of young people left Innisfail after the cyclone because of inconsistent work prospects and constant house flood repairs.Good luck.Expect the unexpected!@@breeslife4479

Wanna be upity, 6ft is nothin mate, our last flood here was 18 METERS. One before that, 21 METERS. Dont be a dick when others are going through hardship. Peace!
