I live in Cleethorpes, on the border with Grimsby ( off the A46) I’d been following it on Lightning tracker. It wasn’t much of a storm where I live. If my memory serves me correctly it came up from the South West, Louth area. Tracked east of Cleethorpes and then carried on up over Holderness. We haven’t had a really good Thunderstorm since 2010.
The second part of the video was in Cleethorpes. Although it did seem like it was stronger to the south of the town, judging by the hail deposits I saw there.
@@supacellstormchasing the thunderstorm I was hit by started producing lightning, stopped then as soon as it came over us it started producing lightning again Also Stockport & Manchester have high thunderstorm risks according to weather
Impressive footage of these storms, particularly the one that you were on during the most of the video that you saw move out to sea! Where do these storms go once they head out to sea?
Thank you. If the storms are surface based, like this one, then they die once they hit the cold sea. This one died out just a few miles off the coastline. If the storms are elevated then they trundle across the sea to the European continent. Although its rare that elevated storms move out to sea from the UK, they normally move into the UK from Europe.
I stayed close to home as there were thundery showers here and so didn't need to go far. I did a little bit of chasing. If the video is any good when I check it then I'll put it up.
Amazing storm in the end nice rainbow 🌈 to finish after the storm loved it
Thank you. The rainbow was the icing on the cake after a nice thundery afternoon 🙂

Thunderstorms are expected on Friday 14th & Saturday 15th
There will be a lot of showers and could be some thunderstorms mixed in on both days, yes.
@@supacellstormchasingexperienced a thunderstorm on the 14th. Caught 7 bolts in the sky with spectacular thunder
Just had a little one here, although didn't see any bolts. More opportunities tomorrow 🙂

Hoping for at least a couple good thunderstorms this summer/autumn 🤞
Fantastic video! that was a well deserved storm after all that driving, thanks for sharing
Haha, yes the drive was worth it. Thank you.
There were some very intense pulse storms around on Sunday, and they missed me sadly.😢
Hopefully you get the chance to see something next time
Great video 👍 some nice storm structure and hail footage 👍👍
Thank you 🙂

@@bradroesler7072 that storm crossed the Humber and moved up the Holderness coast and expired over Hornsea
Cloud seeding??
