    Designed to mount above a doorway frame on a standard wood stud wall*, the Rogue Jammer Pull-up Bar includes a 43” long stringer, 3/8” thick laser-cut steel brackets, and a custom-finished 1.125” diameter bar. This system is on par with the equipment you’re already using at the local gym or in the garage.
    *Each order comes standard with a set of (6) 3/8” x 2.5" wood lags for mounting the stringer. If you plan to mount to something other than wood studs, we recommend contacting a general contractor to assist in planning an alternative install process.

    I installed this over my door today but i bought my own wrenches 10mmx80 plus screw anchors or rawplugs, whatever you call it. There was only wrenches included for wood installation from rogue so i had to buy some quality wrenches on my own.. In germany we have strong concrete and it was tough to drill in there. I used 10 wrenches instead of 6 as shown in the video. 5 for top and 5 for bottom just to make sure its safe. I chose the smooth bar and its great, heavy material and a little expensive but i hope its worth it and it will never break

      Yeah… in America we don’t call bolts “wrenches”😅

      @Alex Gemi I'm loving it. I just made sure I anchored it into all the studs in the wall.

      @Alex Gemi No problem. Our place has drywall. Within the drywall there are wooden beams to offer support for the structure of the house.
      I'm assuming that within the plasterboard wall there is some sort of structure to the walls. Are you in a apartment complex?
      Brick can work too.

      @Alex Gemi Heres a way you can do it.
      Since we have dry walls I used the knocking method. This guy in the vid uses a magnet method. Give those a try.
      th-cam.com/video/cYJ645mHXKs/w-d-xo.html
      I drilled into the wall, making a hole for the screws than screwed the bars screws into the holes. The bar comes with flat screws so thats why I drilled a hole.

      @Alex Gemi If you noticed in the vid, they also predrilled the holes for the top and bottom 6 screws. With the knocking or magnet method, I would hold up the bar base to the wall and knock. When I found the sound to change to a deeper knock I'd marke it with a pencil than drill the hole.
      I hope that makes sense. I'll look for a video to see if it can show you it.

      @Alex Gemi I did it like this but with knocking.

      I forgot to mention, I put mine just above the bathrm door frame to make it easier to hold up.

    Ok so it looks like door needs to be open to use this pull up bar? It looks like if door is close you will be hitting door as you are pulling up?? How far from wall is the bar? I wanna put it avobe garage door but don't wanna have that door open everytime I need to use it.

    • @TheBrooksJohnson
      @TheBrooksJohnson ปีที่แล้ว

      It's only a few inches from the wall. Rogue has several others that provide more clearance though.

    Does the bar plate need to sit on the door frame flush? Or can it be mounted higher let's say for taller athletes?

    • @Weeble_Warbles
      @Weeble_Warbles 6 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      Not part of Rogue, but those lags will hold as long as they're mounted into the framing securely, regardless of height above the door trim.

    Cool pull up bar. But for the price, the welds are really sloppy and not all the way completed. At this price, that’s a sloppy place to cut corners
