Do you mean the IPhone cable?
I have the same issue and don’t know how to fix it. Tried different cables and different phones, the screen still freezes very often, impossible to drive without stopping and restarting the car😢

The accord you were in had a compass showing in the upper screen. I have the 2016 Accord Sensing but my 3 optional screens don't have the compass. Are there firmware upgrades to the software in order for me to get the compass? Or what am I missing? Thank you!

They updated the CarPlay look so now it looks like the new version but I am having issues with it where it will stop or lag on me while driving

Once your phone is plugged into the cars USB you'll select HOME then Apple CarPlay on the screen. The first 30secs of the video show these steps. Apple CarPlay is only available when the phone is plugged into the cars USB. Hope this helps and sorry for the delay in responding back.
I think this video is fake. My Accord 2017, which is newer than this video claimed. but my accord display is not even a touch screen. How can 2016 do this?

You just download them on your phone and it they are compatible with CarPlay they will show up automatically

Cesar Feliz No, you would need an AfterMarker Radio for that. CarPlay it’s installed on Honda accord 2016 and newer

Bharat Y it varies depending on the car, I had an Accord 2018 lx and did not had CarPlay, so before buying it, ask if it has if they don’t know jut plug in your phone and test it, CarPlay it’s only available with cars with touchscreen radio, so if the radio has buttons most likely does not have carplay.
