I'm an arab, these are indeed arabic proverbs, in the sense that I've heard most of them in Arabic or by Arabs. However, not all of them are ARABS' proverbs.
Proverbs of the arabs are so powerful and meaningful that they are usually short sentences, like "Beware the anger of the forbearing".
Very much like the Chinese Proverb,
"Beware the fury of a patient man".
You're correct, a lot of later contributions in Arabic literature was made by non-Arabs. The Persians, Kurds, Turks etc

People are pretty much the same around the world. I traveled a lot as a young man, and had few problems.
These days, most people don't listen to each other. They demand everyone think as they do! That's foolish pride.

Instead, put in more effort and focus on the most effective ways to achieve it. It doesn't matter how long or difficult it is, as long as you don't give up. That is why the Lord is mentioned in the Qur’an (and whoever is given wisdom has been given much good)
