Verdi is my favorite, but I like Wagner, Mozart and even Beethoven's singular opera (the music, not the story line). (Insert Aida's triumphal march here). Yes, I have struggled with being the only person I know that likes opera, it's too bad because I like most other music genres but opera is the VERY best of all music and too few appreciate it.
