Another distributor to stay away from is the Proform brand, made in china and I believe they use chevy components inside. I bought one and it was defective and ended up with 4 of them at one point trying to sort it out with the company, everyone was defective.
Thank you! I’ve heard of their other stuff. Didn’t know about their distributors
Hey dude nice video but I'm the original Mopar Joe lol
Haha! I appreciate it! If I get to outlive you, I’ll try to keep the name going!
i really need to learn distributors so i can set my own
I’ll go through how to set one up on my dart sport. The plan is to get it in and running before March!
those brass electrodes are brass 'contacts'.... good video overall, though... if I could give it 2 likes, I would/
Thank you!
Stop spending my money Joe!!!
That’s our money, Dave!
Hi Joe,
I have a 1970 challenger, facrtory was with the 318, but whet I bough it come with the 383;
i send to rebuilt the motor but never work properly, and also only runs lake 50 mph, do you think o need a new distributor?
It could be many things. If you are sure the spark plugs, wires, distributor cap and rotor look good, you need to check the engine timing. What is the initial and total advance?
