- This is Mansur who has only done 3 hours of driving lessons with an instructor. He has been roughly learning to drive for 3 months and has done most of his practice with family. He wanted to do this mock test to see how he gets on and so he can book his practical test.

Saw the title and was in slight fear, but he is actually a really great driver. He must have some impressive family members. I wish I could’ve driven that well without an instructor haha.

Mansur you've got the makings of a good driver, there was some really good bits in the drive. I think you need some professional lessons too, Good luck with your future driving.
Update after I got my license:
2 days ago I bought my first car! 🎉 A 2009 Mazda 3 hatchback. Today I took her out for a drive around. Seems so unreal that I’m finally a licensed driver!
Aman’s videos helped me and still do with hazard perception, dealing with different situations and so on.

Congrats on your car. Make sure to read the whole owners manual and check under the bonnet and check the liquids what goes where and such.
These give you more knowledge about the car which many drivers lack.
Good example for this is that, someone put washer fluid into where the engine oil goes and totaled the cars engine, it was brand new work provided car.

I don’t think you realise how much these videos help!!!! I watched like 3 of these videos before my test and it really helped me understand what I should and shouldn’t do. I passed on Friday first time with 3 Minors and these videos are such a help. Joined the “passed but still watching “gang😂😂😂😂

Being proactive than reactive. That's a very good tip. Not everyone can be proactive though, as different personalities are driving different vehicles of different sizes, dimensions, different ages, different ways of thinking. But everyone can definitely try to be proactive. Definitely software based automatic driving can drastically change the driving experience with being proactive for everyone, because at highway speeds, being proactive becomes lesser and lesser of a choice for an average driver.
For someone that as only had 3 hours with an instructor I thought you was such a good driver. I had help with family but if you saw me 3 hours in I was still scared of the road plus confused very refreshing to watch you by the way I passed with no minors in southall my first test I done over 40 hours. Past last year august 🎉

A good drive especially considering he's not had much professional tuition. Main points as you said were the progress with speed and just general observations. I think he said he is learning to drive in an older car, and I would imagine that's the case for a lot of people learning with parents so that is why he didn't start the car with clutch down, as you don't have to with those but I guess it doesn't do any harm to start with clutch down in all cars, and then you have a universal method.

@clearview driving, i really love the way you giving the information to everyone on driving lessons. I'm eager to know that, some people are more confident in driving barefooted. Will the instructor allow to drive barefooted in driving test and are we allowed to drive barefoot in UK?
Yeah nice drive. If you match the speed to the traffic risk is reduced to 0. Also practice on country roads to get comfortable at speed

I didn't know we could actually get into a bus lane which has solid lane markings at the side
I thought it was an error too but on closer inspection you can see a sign on 18:06 bus lane saying days and times so I assume he was driving outside of those times 😊

Is stalling the car considered a serious? Or was it because he didnt apply hand brake, set back to 1st and then pull away and subsequently stalled a second time on the junction?
Its because he stalled twice and held up traffic on the second stall

1st pull up on left you said good signal timed.I suggest you look back..There was a carpark entrance on the left.He signaled BEFORE the entrance.Had someone been exiting the carpark they obviously would have presumed he was turning.This should have been pointed out to him at least ...Also the 1st roundabout very late signal and kept signal on too long as there was again a left turn just after exit from roundabout.Also doing 20mph in a 30 zone for prolonged period of time could be a serious fault for progress..all of the above would have been faults on a genuine driving test..
His right foot for the gas pedal is not comfortable by the looks of it. Otherwise good drive.

Some bus lanes are restricted to buses only 24/7 but some are only restricted to buses certain hours of the day.

So he said to check indicator's are working he should start the car!! Then you said "and get out and walk around"! Absolute would not and should not leave the vehicle whilst the engine is on to check indicator's..He should press the hazard warning light switch and then walk around the car...
