Ive a feeling that singles that are getting slept on will be the biggest earners in the long run, cards like the bulbasaur you showed, squirtle in that set too. Well loved pokemon that maybe ain't as rare cards. (Obsidian flames charmander promo, eevee prismatic evolution promo.)
@@2Balendin2 Whilst 'desired' singles do definitely increase after the set has been and gone, truth is Singles will never match Sealed Products in terms of 'increase in value'. It's given me a video idea and I will some point create a detailed video and explain why 🙂 But, there's nothing wrong with 'diversifying' your Pokemon Investments, I do the same. I have multiple Pokemon Products - Sealed, Singles, Graded and not just TCG. If you get the chance, check out my 'Investment Binder' series, I buy singles and check how much they increase by over time 💹 I will try and get hold of some of those cards on my next video as well 👍🏽
I haven't seen any videos on my algorithm and TH-cam feed of people creating Fomo on retro video game collection if I'm honest, and I enjoy collecting old school video games too.
For me, combining my passion for collecting with an investment angle is just one way I enjoy the hobby. But, I completely respect that many Pokemon Fans are in purely for the love of the game, which is awesome too! We all contribute to the community in our own way 👍🏽
"Investing" in Pokemon cards is just a cancer to the hobby that makes it more difficult and expensive for people who actually want to collect or play the game. Please don't do "investing" thats just sad glorified scalping/gambling
