I suppose different Grading services will depend on the location of the event, I don't see Ace Grading travelling all the way up to Yorkshire for this kind of stuff, but, they will go for a London based event 👍🏽

Best way would be to follow their social media accounts like FB, Instagram, etc. You can also set a notification on events in Eventbrite 👍🏽

@@LoreOfTheWorlds615 Thank you for the support bud 😁🇬🇧 Personally when it comes to singles I mainly use eBay, Vinted, Facebook Marketplace, Magic Madhouse, LloydsTwinTraders and local retail TCG based shops. If you are buying singles on reselling marketplaces like eBay, I have pointed this out on my Binder Investment video, where I buy single cards every month, I always recommend to check out the sellers other listings and cut and offer to buy in bulk rather than one at a time. Use sites like PokeCardValue to check if you are buying a fair price for a single card. It's chilly now, but, I have in the past found decent Poke Cards at Carboot Sales, but, this is something I only recommend attending during the Summer, as you will have more sellers out and about 👍🏽

For me, combining my passion for collecting with an investment angle is just one way I enjoy the hobby. But, I completely respect that many Pokemon Fans are in purely for the love of the game, which is awesome too! We all contribute to the community in our own way 👍🏽

I haven't seen any videos on my algorithm and TH-cam feed of people creating Fomo on retro video game collection if I'm honest, and I enjoy collecting old school video games too.

For me, combining my passion for collecting with an investment angle is just one way I enjoy the hobby. But, I completely respect that many Pokemon Fans are in purely for the love of the game, which is awesome too! We all contribute to the community in our own way 👍🏽

@@Fangirl-Nerd12 I wouldn't say there is a 'backlash' there are certainly people asking on Reddit and wondering which direction Tesco may go with this new partnership. Not to get into too many boring details, there's potential during the holiday periods that Tesco may get hold of Pokemon products, but, stock it away from the 'toy section' and instead put it on a 'seasonal' section. I have been keeping a close eye on this, I will do a follow up video one day when there's further information. @@2Balendin2 Whilst 'desired' singles do definitely increase after the set has been and gone, truth is Singles will never match Sealed Products in terms of 'increase in value'. It's given me a video idea and I will some point create a detailed video and explain why 🙂 But, there's nothing wrong with 'diversifying' your Pokemon Investments, I do the same. I have multiple Pokemon Products - Sealed, Singles, Graded and not just TCG. If you get the chance, check out my 'Investment Binder' series, I buy singles and check how much they increase by over time 💹 I will try and get hold of some of those cards on my next video as well 👍🏽

@@lewistremson5666 Some good shouts there, I'll have a look myself and see if I can get the Eevee or the Steelix for the next video 👍🏽 in terms Pokecenter ETBs, I would purchase them regardless of the 'hype', yes some sets will perform better than others no doubt, but, PC'ETB will always increase in value, I bought the Stellar Crown ETB recently, it's gone under the radar by 99% of people out there. End of the day, I will be holding onto these products for 20-25 years, if I calculate inflation, £55 today in terms of purchasing power, will require approximately £200 in 2050, I'm I confident that I will get more than £200 for that ETB in 2050, yes I am, simple 👍🏽

It's going to be a trial-and-error situation, you will have to make trips and see if they manage to stock it, as their website inventory is completely separate from anything they have in-store. One TH-camr whose content I viewed Vivian Collectables, he managed to find the 151 tins at his local Costco, I am not sure 100% but I believe he is from London, which if any store managed to get hold of it in the UK first would naturally be London. I regularly order from Zavvi, not just Pokémon products, but, other merchandise. Personally, I never had a delivery issue with them, but, their customer service experience on their ticket support system has been a challenge that's the polite way to put it. However, I am happy to give them £10py for the Red Carpet membership because of the amount of stuff I tend to buy from them 👍🏽

Cheers buddy 😊 sorry this is going to be a long and detailed response, as I operate my own e-commerce business and it's my area of field. It's their manufacturer partnership in China they are in business with that doesn't currently make TL Binders. Businesses pay a huge upfront payment to create their products by these Chinese Manufacturers who already have the designs, but, add 'logos' on these prints and schedule it for certain timeframes. VaultX won't be able to get Toploader Binders yet. However, very recently there is now a Chinese Manufacturer that is creating TL Binders, and likely it will be gobbled up by the bigger boys over there soon, it's usually how it tends to work. I know the manufacturer VaultX uses, I get Binders/Deck Boxes from them (minus the VaultX logo). I am passionate about helping start ups and small businesses like Mintkeeper, as they tend to take time on quality 👍🏽

I openly admit mine on my channel, it's used as an Alternative Investment, I'm familiar with Pokémon TCG, so I trust my own gut and wisdom when it comes to investing in Pokémon. If you are a collector and really want some 'chase cards' in this set, then honestly I called it out on a previous video this one is a hold and watch the price drop, and it has, more than likely would continue to as well. Stellar Crown is slept on in my eyes, dare I say it, it has the potential to be the 2nd best set in 2024, I am going to cover my thoughts on this in a future video 👍🏽 Don't worry about being a broke College student, we were all there at one point, but, difference is, if you can commit into investing in your hobby/love, your future self would thank you. Even if you can put that £10pm on this, you are still averaging better than the other Students out there who likely are not even this forward thinking ahead 🙂 Anyways bud, keep up with this, don't stop 🛑 And yeah, best of luck with your studies too! 🎓

@@Hustlémon I’m a big stellar crown fan. I see a lot of content creators here in the US, rank it very low. Just because it’s a small set. I love all of the cards in it. So I bought a sealed case of booster boxes. Surging is a solid set but not as good as all of the hype it’s gotten/getting. Ceruledge IR and hydreigon SiR are my two chases from it. @@ClaymanIFCC it's a good idea bud 🙂 My main focus on the channel though is to teach/encourage people to look in 'Alternative Investments' using their hobbies, like I have with Pokémon to build a way to supplement their later years. Trading is good, but, it's easier to get people on board with these stuff if they were to first buy and build a binder, then later trade once they got knowledge themselves 😁 With that being said, I do have a Binder section dedicated to my favourite Pokémon Sandslash, my aim was to complete and get hold of all English Written Sandslash cards in NM/M condition 😆

What you just described to me is an Investment 😶 Sealed products and locking them away out of sight, out of mind, is the idea! You don't invest for a 'short time,' the ideal investment is playing the long game. You are talking 20-30 years and that product would fetch a nice return 🙂

@Hustlémon I've been doing some thinking... if you wanted to "move the financial needle", you would need tens of thousands... to make flipping etb's or booster boxes worth it. I buy a few blisters and loose packs every year and hide them with my sports cards from the 80's. It's like a treasure for my kids when I croak... 🤣🤣🤣🥰🥰🥰

@@carsenarsen8634 Well if you look at past performances, the XY Evolution ETB. 2016 was £40 to purchase. Now that ETB is worth £240-£300 which is a 5x increase in value, I am aware past performances are no guidelines to future results. But, no stock investment increase in that fold, the SNP500 has an average yield of 7%-10% return, so even at a best push, that £40 investment would be worth £85 now. This is why I believe 'alternative investment' is a good option for people, plus I personally believe it's 'easier to start' as people have attachment to collection. I can discuss your collection and 'loose packs' are okay, but, you need a 'reputation' when reselling them or have them graded. If you don't want to invest in ETBs or UPCs. Then triple blisters are a good options too. @Hustlémon agreed 100% just remember that no one in the future is purchasing an xy etb to rip it. The risk is far too great... your clientele for xy etb's are currently collectors who also want to sit on them... the value is inherent to the purchaser only. There will be a point of losing return. Can't invest 30000 in etb's you will need to store them and keep them safe etc. I'm interested in what you think about what product will stand the "test of time". Etb's are great, But you're not going to rip a 200$ etb. You're going to sit on it and invest. I truly believe a 50$pack is more of an impulse buy and will be ripped immediately. Idk. I'm old... I stopped collecting actual cards in the 1990's when opeechee, topp, upper league... they screwed us man. They totally totally screwed the industry and it still isn't back to where it was in 1993... I remember leaving ball games and going to the card shops... now we have game stop... yay

That's a good shout! I should've thought that myself knowing online retail World. The lowest recording sales/profit months are between Feb-May, those 3 months every business tend to not make as much in comparison to the rest of the year, glad you pointed that out bud 👍🏽
