It's relieving to see a dude who has his heart on his sleeve and is so at ease in these wild times. Your videos are great relaxation and insight into the basics of humanity, thanks for them. Keep it up! Jirka, Czechia
I wish everyone could be as accepting and kind as you, Ryan. You dont seem to see the differences in people that make others hate. It’s sad and insane, but seeing really good people like you in action gives me hope for the future. Thanks, Ryan, and good luck❤
Dude - we come for the van ventures, but stay for your kindness. I don't comment much, but to see examples of kindness and acceptance like yours is a ray of sunshine in a world as cloudy as today's. Thanks!
For being in New York, van street looks really clean and looks like the locals really appreciated a safe place to dwell. Probably safer than most places… God bless you all and good video Ryan 👍👍
Nice to enjoy a morning coffee outside. Minus the bugs. Great travels as always showing parts of New York that some may never experience. Van alley hopefully means safety also in the city. Your energy to explore and treat all you meet with dignity is amazing.
I stealth camped for a week on the west side of Manhattan last month (October) for the New York Comicon. Unlike Van Alley, on the regular streets one has to move your vehicle every few days because they send street cleaning machines through accompanied by teams of parking ticket people. Interesting to see all the people moving their cars out and back as that parade goes through. I had actually planned to visit Van Alley also, since I had seen videos of it previously, but never made it over there. I had a great time, except my e-Bike got a flat tire and so I tried the blue Citi Bike system, but that only allows you to use a bike for 30-minutes or they charge extra (even if there are no open working bike spaces at your destination). But I had fun traveling around the city. It turns out that one can get into the American Natural History Museum for free in the final hour it is open. After that I crossed over to Central Park and I came across a live music vigil or remembrance gathering for John Lennon at the Strawberry Fields section of the park. Leaving in New York traffic was awful, I could have gotten out and walked faster.
This has been one of my favorite videos of yours. It was really cool to see a businessman in business attire, fly fishing. Actually, it made me both happy and sad. Happy because he was able to escape and do something he loves, yet sad because his friends and coworkers are most likely very different then most fly anglers. That's a lonely place to be.
Hey Ryan! Back commenting again. Inspired, as always, by your kindness and would love to help you pay it forward. Donated £100 and would love to see it given out to someone like Akin (sorry if I misspelt his name) on your travels. Big love fam x
What an awesome heart you have Ryan. You are so kind. These people don't have a placxe to live and someone reaching out to them is so awesome. Thank you for sharing. I really enjoy your videos. God Bless you and Stay in touch.
Seneca Village was a 19th-century settlement of mostly African American landowners in the borough of Manhattan in New York City, within what would become present-day Central Park
I’ve never been to New York City so it was fun to see it through your eyes. Thanks for a different take on the city than I usually see in videos, movies, etc.
THAT GUY YOU MET HAS BEEN IN THE COUNTRY LESS THAN A YEAR AND MAKING IT AT ALL COSTS. MUCH RESPECT FOR HIM AND RYAN YOU WERE AS ALWAYS KIND TO A STRANGER, RESPECT THAT AS WELL. IT'S EASY TO TAKE FOR GRANTED THAT WE LIVE IN A PRETTY AWESOME COUNTRY SEEING THAT GUY IS A GOOD REMINDER.
Our country isn't that great. I feel like if it was then people would be able to afford a decent home instead of living on the street. That awesome guy is making it work in this cold world!
This was literally my favorite episode by far. Especially since i live in nyc, and to see the goodness in you really makes your channel even more enjoyable to watch, thanks
NYC is my town and it’s good to see you around in it. 😍😍 And not for nothing, YOU are a LOVELY young man. Making and sharing that steak was so sweet. Your kindness and generosity is beautiful and we need a million more people just like you in this world. 😍😍😍⭐️❤️❤️
You're amazing, that's why people love you and follow you, been enjoying the ride all along ,awesome life experience for you that you are sharing with us , cheers 🍻
Man you got to incorporate some more doggo content when you're with the pups. they're awesome. Would love to see you adopt a doggo for when you go on the road.
The guy that build a small box into a home is probably one of the coolest things I have ever seen. Dude even had a little window and a chair posted it up outside of it. God bless him👏🏾
Did you even watch the video or just comment straight away? Van alley being a popular spot to for sleeping in a vehicle and not a stealth spot was literally the first thing he mentioned after he parked.
u did nyc, u have got to do philly....have a cheese steak or a hoagie, a hoagie can be a meal for a day depending on what meats are used.....being a transplant from philly to harris co texas, i miss the east coast....
If you keep rolling the star link cable up like that with all the twists in it it will eventually fail, look up how to roll up extension lead electrician, it’s not easier but it definitely extends the life of the cable !
Just happen to stumble upon your video. You're in my city as well as in my playground in the beautiful Catskills mountains. I'm living my dream through you living in a van and looking forward to binge watching all your videos and future ones. Subscribed!
I’ve given you this idea before, but just as a reminder I would absolutely love to see you take one or both of the dogs on a road trip. Even if it was a short one long one whatever just seeing you and how you adapt to having your dogs along with you I would love to see it. Either way I will continue watching keep up the great work
This was one of my favorite videos of yours, I don’t mean that in a bad way because I enjoy all of them. I really like the urban exploring part of van life so this video was fun. It was super awesome how you met that guy, it sounds like he’s got a great story. I’m sure you had a good conversation. Safe travels
Your true caring side of your personality shines so bright in this video cooking for someone you just met!!! I applaud you so loudly !! Thanks for sharing !! ❤❤❤
At the beginning of your video I was thinking how kind your are by showing us out-of-towners what the sights are in America and I get a bit further in and you kindly shared your dinner with a stranger after cooking it and everything. You are a great guy Ryan. XX and thank you for recording your weekly videos.
You're destroying your starlink cable winding it that way. When you spool it over your arm it twists the cable inside the sleeve and kinks it over time, making it far more likely that it will break or short. Not only that, it leads to a far higher likelihood of knots and tangles, as I see you're finding out.
Just a thought, come to Ga, do the coke factory and aquarium in Atlanta. Then Stone Mountain. Drive to Gulf Shores and then to Panama City Beach, then to Disney. 🎉🎉🎉
Did you ever do a video in Chicago Ryan? Been watching for a while, and I don't think I recall video in Chicago. Would be cool to see a stealth night camping video in Downtown!
Wow I’m originally from NY but my family moved to New Haven and I lived there for 30 yrs yeah their brick oven Pizza is really good PePe’s and the one on State st is really good too

And I always think to Myself how stealthy is it really to park in an established community of Van dwellers and who do you think your really fooling? I am hoping that one day I will see a Stealth camping TH-camr park somewhere else in New York City, even if they don’t enjoy the best nights sleep. Anyway it was great to see the new park alongside Van Alley.
When you talked about the beginnings of Central Park, seems like you shouldve mentioned the marginalized groups that were forced out of their homes to make way for it.
Ryan, you are a nice young fellow, don't park that beautiful van in New York streets. I am life long, born and raised in NY and my family each has had their cars vandalized, stolen and towed illegally numerous times. There is no one in NY local government that is not a criminal, I promise you this. Times Square is nice, I used to go there. Flushing Meadows Park is really beautiful, if you ever come back to NY (park in a garage) and see it. Bronx Botanical Gardens is also beautiful. Best of luck for safe happy travels.

Bet you are are a flaming liberal that sanitizes your hands every time you touch people who “look” different than you.
I agree, Ryan is the best. Currently, I'm unhoused and am looking for a temporary place to stay. Maybe you could help me out?
