I absolutely love the idea of the graffiti wall and the 30 book challenge. I jotted that down in my notebook to use for future reference once I become a teacher. I love how cozy and homey your classroom looks and I want to create that type of atmosphere within my classroom.
I'm a brand new teacher in Las Vegas and our classrooms are much smaller than yours. I was shook when you said you had one of the smallest rooms in the building. I love how you decorated your classroom, it's very cozy!
If you don’t end up getting a podium for your curriculum, you could always look for a music stand. Plus side, they mostly come in black so it would match your decor!
I graduated college in May and will be starting as a Kindergarten teacher in the fall!! So excited and nervous for my first year of teaching. I love your classroom! I can’t wait to get in and begin setting mine up 🥰🥰

Here’s a thought for the Grit wall: have the students write and research them! Maybe each week a different student is responsible for adding a person. Or if you do extra credit, it could be an extra credit piece!

I am a brand new viewer finding you during distance learning and I just wanted to say I already love watching your videos! I am a first year teacher this year, who would have thought my first year would involve adjusting to virtual learning and a pandemic!?! Just wanted to say I love your enthusiasm for teaching. :) Your classroom tour was so fun seeing into your cozy places for your kids. Quick question, where did you get those super cute wood cushions in your library and on under the bench space. They are so cute!

Expo markers make me crazy! But I just watched a video 2 minutes ago where she taped the marker to a string and swung it over her head (like a lasso) about 25 times around and it was restored! Try it!
So lucky that you got to start packing so early!! We are also moving buildings but we have to leave everything up until the Wednesday of the last week 😐😂

Melissa Smith that’s what I’m saying- they are obsessed with certain actions/behaviors. And people who have OCD usually aren’t concerned with clutter mess, but germ mess so they wipe and dust often, IF that is one of there obsessions/compulsions
