I used to run all the time in my teens loved it! Then I stopped and gained a lot of weight (highest 299 lbs) running was the only thing that helped me mentally in life, after gaining the weight I tried running again @ 240 pounds and my joints went having it then gained another 20 pounds and tried again and my knee started doing some funny stuff where it felt like something slipped out of place idk. Through the years I would lose alot of weight then my body would be shot feet, ankles, planter Fasciitis, hips, back, neck the whole enchilada. This would last months and put me in depression state and I would eat all my weight back . I was never able to run more than 2 miles without any of this pain and would never be able to push myself . I’m 31 now and finally started doing research so I can get back to doing what I love and came across this shoe.I invested in it and it changed my life! I started my running journey again around 272 pounds around 250 lbs I started feeling all the pain again and invested in this shoe. I can now run 10 milers average pace 11 mins and currently weigh 236 This shoe has literally taken all the pain I was experiencing away I guess from running so much in whatever shoes when I was a teenager and gaining a bunch of weight. Anyway these shoes saved me mentally and gave me back my life. The anxiety, depression and agitation has lifted. Feels good to be able to get that running high again
That's great to hear that these worked well for you and helped you start running again. You may really like the Brooks Glycerin 20 GTS as well! Highly recommend if you're a fan of the Adrenaline.

I have a different model, been using it for quite some time now (4 years) and is currently falling apart but i don't wanna let it go cause boy oh boy, the comfort i get when running. So here I am finding other available models... Or maybe will just buy the same model before I let my shoe go.
Yeah I got mine in 2021 and they work well. Only thing is they are kind of narrow so I’m going to try out the wides when I get a new pair, which will be soon since I need them replaced 😂
Do you know when brooks expect to release the latest versions? I’ve noticed I’m seeing the new versions pop up in reviews but they aren’t available in the uk 👎

I just bought a pair as my first running shoe
I heard they run a bit narrow compared to the previous version (GTS 21).
Online they have a wide option so that’s good to know

Please stop advertising the drop as a negative. It’s totally subjective.
I said “might be offsetting”. Never said it was a bad thing. 12mm is an aggressive drop and could be a dealbreaker for some runners.
It is great for flat feet though, which is the audience these shoes are oriented to.

I’m sorry! I’m in the US and don’t know much about international release dates. We’re experiencing a lot of shipping delays here as well.
