great vid, good useful info.
I think your information needs to be updated with correct information You're not very knowledgeable you shouldn't have a TH-cam channel
@bobhunt6554 then please u do a better one and we will judge U! I really liked his video and I've been a steady traveler to the the Philippines with my family already established there! Is information was correct and to me was up to date!
Your observations are also true not only in asian countries but in U.S. & Europe as well.
Nice video! I understood u good and good how u laid out the stuggles u might run into! Well done! Brad in Arizona but soon to be in the Philippines!
Don't know if you were ever in the military bro, but you just described a deployment almost to perfection. Good info, glad I watched.
Exactly, lots of expats are retired military… it’s going to be alot of game playing, since 1945 worth with the women, I’m sure they are pros. A lot of regular passport bros might be disappointed😂
I been living here now 8 years married to a Filipina I live 5 hours north of Manila the cost of living is cheap I have not had a western meal in years I eat the local food shop at the market not the grocery store prices much cheaper we have great fiber optic internet just as fast as the states health care has been great no as expensive as the states
Lived in outer cebu phillipines, what are you talking about, it's cheap as hell. I lived on less than 1000 dollar, my friend from korea even lived on 300 dollar, but rather in unsafe lodging. He got robbed at night once in his room. Learn patience, phillipino time is a thing. People are super helpful but take their sweet time, governement is even slower if you don't pay extra. Live in cheap condos outside of city center. Power outtage isn't a problem if you don't have tv or airco. Stock up on bottled water. Good luck! Avoid malls, learn to live with a cockroach here and there. They are everywhere in the city.
Avoid hanging with complaining expats, hang with locals but don't start drinking every day, don't offend people in their face, learn cebuano and eskrima if you want something to do. This way you'll really learn the culture.(in cebu)
why avoid malls?
Cockroaches are everywhere even in America, and someplace are infested with them! When I lived in Hawaii they were really bad! But u learn how to do away with them!
Re: 02:00 -- PLDT fiber is only about $20 per month and it's never given me any problems. Also, this really depends on what area you're in, but I've only had one power interruption where I'm currently at, and it was due to a storm. Rent is cheap as hell, too. I'm renting a two-story house in a nice subdivision for P18k (about P306).
I agree with you.100%!!!
Biggest mistake, Showing up, Stay where your at, 98% fail here, Life here is not bowl ice cream, Stay Home I lost count in failure here, even death or kidnapping,
You do come don’t sell out biggest mistake I’ve seen,
1500 a month is Great life here,
God Bless
Building a home in hills of central Bohol! Found 1500 sq. meters. I have been married to a Filipina for almost 18 years! Wife has been working very hard to become a nurse here in USA! We have the walls, roof and a well for water complete so far! Wife's 5 brothers and 2 sisters is a big help getting things completed! Wife now has duel citizenship so we can open a bank account in Bohol and transfer currency.
Everything is great until u have a health issue, getting to hospital. I am sure the hospitals in Bohol are subpar. Goodluck,,,I lived in cebu city for 7 years, visiting 30 years. Been to bohol around 20 times, ,,,,goodluck
well said 💯
VA hospital only services vets with service related disabilities.
There are no VA Hospitals in the Philippines. There is only one outpatient clinic. I agree that only Service connected conditions are covered.
If you give a fish to a man he'll be fed for one day teach him how to fish and you will feed him for a lifetime
Philippines has a set pace due to there income. Money is a energy.
I got back in the US 2 months ago from the beautiful Philippines and most likely going back next year
I AGREE WITH OBSERVATIONS OR GUIDELINES IF PLANNING TO MARRY A FILIPINA . HOPING FOREIGNERS BE GUIGED WITH YOUR NARRATIVES. MABUHAY.
The VA manila only treats Service connected conditions. Save the airfare and get a local insurance policy.
Corruption is at every level, from government to families. You're not just partnering with your Filipina; it's the entire family tree if you're a foreigner because they think you are rich. So, extended family members will ask your Filipina to get money from you for a variety of things. I had pity on the poor, but the poor can scam you for money if you're not careful. A culture of jealousy and envy drives them to want things like Westerners have. The Filipina's loyalty is not to you, their partner, but to their extended family. Makati was cheap to live and the cleanest city and malls I've ever seen. Transportation choices are very good. I lived there for two years.
No Way PI / Thailand 🇹🇭 is better
Why be in fear of armed police officers? And weapons??
This is what we need in the US heavily armed police officers like Mexico in France maybe the criminals will have second thoughts about Robinson someone .😮
Visa is no issue at all, super easy.
This vlog sees the Philippines as a drinking glass half full of negatives. BETTER IF YOU LOOK AT THE COUNTRY AS A GLASS HALF FULL
OF POSITIVES. With foreigners whose outlook is like yours, better for you to leave the Philippines as fast as you can because YOU WILL NEVER
FIND TRUE HAPPINESS IN THE PHILIPPINES!!!
The mostly costly mistake you can make in the Philippines is going there in the first place.
the furst 10 things to never do in the PHils 1-10 do not marry, do not live in the phils, find a better place to live
Why be in fear of armed police officers? Open carry guns-weapons??
This is what we need in the US heavily armed police officers like Mexico in France maybe the criminals will have second thoughts about Robbing someone .😮
News flash, US police officers are armed.
😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊
Personally I'd just as soon watch you pod cast style than all these generic clips, I find them distracting and they contribute nothing.
There are already one billions videos about this subject. Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz!!!
True this vlogger has no imagination
Correct. It's just the same old BS. I can save everyone 18 minutes: just don't date, no marriage. Nothing special or "different" about a Filipina compared to a Western woman. Philippines is just a dump compared to elsewhere in SE Asia. Why so many desperate men still want to go there, I don't get it
MGTOW!
This video vlog is for maputi lalaki expats only it’s totally different for black expats
My God. Get over it already.
U pulling ur race card? Cry baby!
