This channel needs more views. I'm digging your how tos. Just knowledge from someone who knows what is what and not 20 minutes of sponsorship messages. I wouldn't mind if you got sponsored though you have thoroughly good content and no wasted watch time!
I will definitely try this method a try the jar with water method with basil and covered it with a plastic bag and the next day the basil ended up with mold on the leaves
What exactly did you not get an answer to? I’d be happy to clarify. I’m glad that you know how to use a salad spinner, but many people don’t know how it works or how to use it, so I explained it for them. (I know this because every time I show the salad spinner in my videos, I get multiple questions about it.) Have a lovely evening.
I must admit this wasn't a video I expected to find an angry response against. I didn't have a clue what a salad spinner was. I've clearly never had one and, at the age of 42, I'm guessing I can do without one :)
I think this is a wonderful video! I was surprised that the “vase” method didn’t win. Now I know how to store herbs and will no longer avoid buying the fresh ones. Keep up the great work!
Best part is that ready to be chopped up and it is already washed and cleaned. Thank you so much for sharing.
You are a good teacher AND include so many points that go beyond just storage, such as the convenience of the paper towell method. Thank-you!!
I love this kind of scientific approach to these types of things.

Thank you so much! I really appreciate that. I love sharing tips that I've learned here on my channel.
Thank you for sharing this! Much needed for me as my herbs seem to go bad before i use them up constantly.
Love this video. Thank you for showing all three methods and its results.. ❤
Glad you enjoyed it!
Love this! Many thanks!❤
awesome video! Thanks for helping with kitchen tips!
I will try this method. Love the fact it's already washed, it should help me to use up the herbs! Great tip! Thanks Olga👍
Answer: rinse, dry well, wrap in paper towel, refrigerate
😮 wow. Thank you good
🎉
Thank you for the information. I think we can also freeze them after cleaning and drying.
Yes you can! It works great to freeze herbs.
Excellent video! Thank you!!!
Thank you, I will try the paper towel method!
Hope you like it!
Thanks for this video.. great experiment
Very good clip
Thanks, what are your thoughts on freezing.?
I'm sorry. Is the paper towel ones left in opened or closed ziploc? Thank you❤
Love it! Thank you Olga !

Nice experiment, I should try it, thank you :)
This is perfect thank you
Loved this.
Please do you add vinegar or sakt to the water whrn washing?
I don’t but you can if you want to. Just rinse it off well before storing.
Superb ideas keep it up
Thank you so much for your helpful tips. I’m new to using fresh herbs so this was helpful. What’s the best way to store potatoes and onions?
Store separately in a dark cool area.
Do you think its because you didn’t change the water in the vase method? Thank you for the video, it helps a lot!
No, I don’t think so. I’ve tested these methods before and I did change the water and it didn’t make a difference.
That is the best way
Can I use the same method for epazote
I’ve never used it, but I would definitely give it a try and see how it works.
New sub! Thank you 😊 👍
Welcome:)
This paper towel method works for asparagus too?
For asparagus, I like to wrap the ends in a wet paper towel.
I will definitely try this method a try the jar with water method with basil and covered it with a plastic bag and the next day the basil ended up with mold on the leaves
Bestest method: have a herb garden, even if it's pots. Fresh is best.
❤❤❤
My herbs are from Jamaica, doesn't work.

Ur accent is of a New Englander.
Close! I spent most of my childhood in central NY state:).
Why can I not just get a straight answer on how to do this.
This is my 5th video.
I'm so annoyed.
You really felt the need to explain a salac spinner?
What exactly did you not get an answer to? I’d be happy to clarify.

@@swatt9108 Thank you, Susan. I'm glad it was helpful for you. I am often surprised at the negative comments myself. Sometimes people have a bad day.
@@OlgasFlavorFactory no problem. I wanted to know how to make herbs last longer and now I know 😃😃
