    Hi! My name is Nada. I am new to your channel. Thank you so...much for sharing your idea. Today I did, dill the way you did it, I am sure that is going to be good. I did not know than I can do the same with Parsley. What I do is just wash the parsley and put them in a small bunch, and freeze them little bit on a flat tray, then put them in the freezing bag. But I like your idea with salt. Like you said it stays fresher that way. Thank you again. 😀

      You are welcome and thank you for your support! I freeze parsley all the time as the bunches they sell at the store here are way too big and when I grow my own, I still have too much.

    Do you use tap water to soak your dill and parsley or drinking water?
    Also, do you have to add the salt to help when you freeze it or is it optional and just added for flavor?

    doesn't salt draw out moisture?

    • @AnOldSchoolHome
      @AnOldSchoolHome  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hello! I’m not sure how it works, but my herbs do freeze well this way and most importantly are still just as flavorful even after months of being in the freezer. Technically, yes, salt does absorb moisture out, but it might have something to do with the fact that the herbs are being frozen right away. Thank you for watching!
