Koffa (“Juicy face”) is such a gorgeous woman! Even considering what the condition was doing to her . What an amazing spirit despite living in such a vain society
Oh that last woman and her nose... I was crying even before she said it but when she said she hoped she wouldn't embarrass her teenaged son any more I lost it. Imagine that being more important to her than how she looks. That's a good Mama.
@@qwandary I was looking for this comment! Exactly my thoughts. I wouldn't feel embarrassed at all if anyone went through all that - mom, friend, patient, etc.
I think it’s because it’s reveal day on the show. So they come face done already. But it also seems like even the men have some sort of makeup or photo editing done…
Not to be ugly but the lady who wanted to look younger could have accomplished a lot by changing her eyebrows and hair style. The skinny brows and the 80’s curly perm are very aging.
Disagree on the curly perm. So many women with “stylish” hair styles get curly perms if they’re not born with it naturally, but we’d never know because it’s all about how it’s styled and maintained. If she styled it a wee better, it would look really good (as almost all curly styles look beautiful) … like using more curl creams and scrunching out the gel when a gel cast has formed to let those curls breathe with bouncy movement. For anyone that doesn’t have curly hair, when the hair is damp and you’re prepping the curls with your routine on wash day, you apply gel (usually a formula made specially for curls that has a medium to strong hold and won’t cause any white flakes) and you scrunch the hair after using curl creams and/or mousse when the hair is wet to help “lock in” the spirals. Then, you carefully blow dry the hair with a diffuser attachment starting at the roots using a hovering technique before moving to the ends to create a gel cast. The curls by then will be hard … the 80s look is when they leave it there lol, but the superior technique is to “scrunch out” the crunch from the gel to give way to beautiful, voluminous, bouncy curls that will last for days. Agree with you on the eyebrows, though … mostly because it would look a lot better for her face shape to be a bit fuller … but she may be like numerous women out there who just can’t grow in thick brows and doesn’t always want to fill them in constantly. The woes of the over plucking in the 90s for many. Then again, I have seen some trends try and bring the thinner eyebrows back with the younger gen. Regardless, if she likes how she styles herself and feels confident now, then good on her. I won’t shame her for going for a curly gel look or thinner brows at the end of the day.
Kofa, good lord!!! You look like a teenager! You’re beautiful either way, but I know you must feel so much better. My heart was so full of happiness it started overflowing out of my eyes. ❤
I'm so glad I saw the doctor tear up with the last women: I think that you can become a plastic surgeon because you're into aesthetics, but that every doctor, at the end of the day, enjoys knowing their skill changed someone's life functionally. ❤❤❤
To all these patients, watching your faces go from miserable and painful to restored and happy does my heart good. Specially you, Koffa, who underwent the greatest transformation. Love and best wishes to you all from Sydney, Australia ❤
The last lady made me cry. I’m so glad she was able to get her nose fixed. Now all she need is makeup to cover up the surgical lines, and she’s all good to go. I’m glad at the end she has a good sense of humor as well.
Yeah, definitely a slip up of bedside manner. I am a dental hygienist and I was always taught to keep your composure if something is wrong. Don't make the patient feel bad, don't scare them. Even if something shocked me I would react very nonchalant while discussing with the patient. Reactions like this will only cause negative feelings for the patient, especially if it's something they are uncomfortable with about themselves. he was not trying to be insensitive, he definitely cares about his patients he just was so shocked he couldn't think about holding his composure most likely
All of these people have such wonderful personalities. It's amazing that a traumatic physical setback doesn't always have to dim someone's inner light. watching these videos has made me realize that physical insecurities are irrelevant to how I should view myself - beauty shines from the inside out.
Wow, this is awesome. I had no idea this came out. I’ve been off of social media for so long. I love you guys so much and still grateful to this day. 😘✨💕
I’m so glad to see they could help so many people feel better about themselves, lately the algorithm recommended videos warnings about the danger of fillers(mostly overfilling) so it’s beautiful to see it done properly.
i'm really surprised she found Mohs surgery more intimidating than black save... You don't even have to go under general aenesthesia and they remove the absolute minimum amount of tissue and they can also restore anything that needs restoring, plus you have live confirmation that they got it all. It's really surprising.. maybe the fact that it can be a lengthy procedure?
God really bless you both. You have helped so many people and make them happy. I really feel happy seeing them happy again. Thanks for all what you did and keep doing. Amazing job xxxx
I am glad the doctors helped this girl at 11:15 because she was so naturally pretty and she had a facial disorder that needed to be corrected. She is absolutely glowing in the after pictures of her surgery 🥰😍
I swear it always takes a very long time to be properly diagnosed as a black woman. Its like they just dont take us seriously in the medical field, not listening to what we tell them because they think they know our bodies better than we do.
I’ve read studies that say it’s very beneficial for people to have a doctor with a similar cultural and racial background because they know so much more about the different health needs that are common in specific cultures and races. A black woman will get the best medical treatment by another black woman because black women understand the increased risks of heart disease and breast cancer more than a white man would because he doesn’t also deal with those risks. Kinda why we can get the best advice from people who have the same disease as us and that advice is usually better than you’d get from a doctor without that disease.
I recently switched primary care physicians for this reason. Since 40, I have been unable to sleep full nights. I asked the pcp for resolution assistance, and she flat out asked me to diagnose myself because she didn't know what was wrong. Blank stare.
I'm so sorry that black woman go through that. I can understand how frustrating that can be. We live in a world run by white rich men and maybe that's what the first change should be.
Then go to black professionals and find out that it's not related to your color, duh. White, asians, arabs all deal with the same fact that its not always easy to diagnose.
We really are our own worst critics. To me the lady with the missing septum doesn't look bad like she thinks she does. It wouldn't be the first thing i see if she didn't mention it

Wow. My husband of 27yrs had the middle of his nose empty like the last lady. I actually sent in his pictures years ago to see if you guys could help him. The surgery they did to try to repair ended up causing him to be in the hospital & icu for 8 months!! He coded twice after surgery, almost lost his hand from the skin they took from his wrist to the point he couldn't turn or twist his hand at all! Then other complications like falling out of the bed due to a faulty bedrail and breaking his hip. Then that surgery went bad and the plate grew into his bone wrong and had to be redone. Poor guy went through absolute torture for those 8 months in the hospital which of those 8 months 4 were in the burn icu unit (due to the multitude of skin grafts). When he was done, he just had a fat chunk of skin in his nose which looked awful but maybe better than nothing there? He was told afterwards he'd need a few more surgeries to correct it but with his slew of health issues no one really felt safe doing it. He also got MRSA during his time in the icu. Which sadly ended his life at the age of just 47. The MRSA got into his heart vavle and even with months of IV antibiotics and pic-lines it didnt help. He passed away after his 4th code. It's been 4yrs now. He is no longer suffering and that brings me some comfort. But seeing this last ladies nose just upset me bc it looked just like his before surgery. Unfortunately, he didn't get the results she did. 😔
Auto-immune diseases are so underresearched and underdiagnosed, it’s extremely frustrating. It could literally be the most visible thing like Koffa’s and still take many years to get a diagnosis. The mental toll next to the physical one is so much, you wonder what you’re doing wrong for your body to act this way. But on a more positive note, I’m happy Koffa feels stronger. I wouldn’t have dared to do it, because I would just expect my body to reject the procedure.
I LIKE THE WAY THE PLASTIC SURGEON’S, TAKE THEIR TIME AND REALLY LISTEN TO THEIR PATIENTS. I CAN TELL THEY REALLY CARE. THEY ALSO DO A GREAT JOB. GOD BLESS THEM BOTH, ❤🎉❤😮❤🎉❤

I have a similar situation as Koffa, but I was born with a syndrome that affects the bone growth and tissue around the eyes. I have very little fat in that area. The tricky thing is that individuals with thin tissue around the eyes and cheek area are not good candidates to get cheek implants. I had three fat injections done, which is great, but fat dissolves within a a few years and there are fillers, however they don't accept health insurance for. You would need to keep getting fillers like Botox, and if you stop using fillers it makes your tissue more clever. If you look at Simon Cowell he stopped taking fillers, because his child asks him to stop taking it. You can see that his eyes are more thin and sunken due to fillers. it is something that you would need to keep doing if you have the money. To be honest they should accept insurance for Botox and Fillers for patients with this type of disease. Overall she looks wonderful and the doctors did a great job.
Even if you pay BIG money and go to the 'best' plastic surgeons - it can all go wrong! Even botox or fillers. Just be you. Be fit, be happy, make up is wonderful and enjoy life!
I feel so badly for the lady who lost the end of her nose. I had the same thing happen to me because of skin cancer. I know what it's like to hide your face and to be stared at in the street. I'm sorry that they weren't able to surgically repair it for her but the prothesis is amazing. Also, I didn't know that you could have the scars tattooed. Can someone at E! Entertainment please find the name for me of a qualified person who could help me? I have extensive scarring on my nose. I make the best of it, but if there's treatment, I want to try it. Thank you!

Thank you!
