this emulator is crazy, i install it, no changer or options, i just added a pal bios, then i put my PSX CD in and its playing immediately and doesnt look bad on my TV. all i need now is to get my xbone pad working and its good to go.
Just downloaded this emulator and am very impressed with its emulation and features. The fact that I'm able to upscale and clean up the 2D menu's is simply amazing. Loving just wish someone could fix LAPD FutureCop so I can play this, one of my fav. PSX games.

Anytime I move the character in a diagonal direction he moves extremely slowly, is there a way to fix this and make the analog sticks work better? Edit: I've managed to figure it out! Just needed to adjust the analog ratio to 1.40 for the ps5 controller! Now I just need to get the rumble to work on it 😅

Google "game name + Rom/ISO", you can find lots of website can download roms, and if you still have some game discs, you can rip it to ISO by yourself too.
To me setting up the emulator was easy, but how can I make Windows shortcuts for games running on Duckstation? With epsxe it was as easy as just putting a parameter linking to the disc image, and the shortcut would start the gane directly.
This emulator is perfect. It's just a complete shame they updated the UI icons from having color and looking distinct to be these ugly flat and colorless icons that blend together. Seriously, why does that keep happening?
please help, my first xbox controller works just fine with loaded xbox settings but when i try to set port 2 xbox controller i cant load any settings it just leaves it blank and when i try to bind it its not working, basically second controller dont work at all

I have this issue in silent Hill 1 were everything works the way I want it, but for some odd reason the levels pop in right before you reach the edge of a polygon. For instance, when harry is in the streets and running, you will get about 4 feet from an edge of a loaded polygon, while clearly being able to see a unloaded empty space just pop in, and this happens on all sides. What could be causing this? any ideas?
Retropie should make Duckstation as default psx core. It's more compatible and up to date than PCSX ReARMed. I can't play Parasite Eve 2 with PCSX ReARMed but have no problem playing with Duckstation.
I have several computers, my old PCs even a core 2 duo laptop can run it well, but my latest Ryzen machine can't, when I launch it, it close immediately, no warning no error message just close immediately, so weird lol.

Question I downloaded Armored Core on CDromance and unzipped the file like I usually did on ePSXe but when I boot up the game using the three different settings it tells me it's unrecognized and the file may need more info, so what do I download the game from a different site or something?

I've gotten into hacked or patched games recently, but for the life of me, I can't get any to run on duckstation unless it's a post patch download. I have the means to patch the bin files with ppff files. That seems to work just fine. It says the patch was successful. Either it freezes or it just...scrambles the game up. Text becomes nonsensical, characters get abilities that others are supposed to have (specifically in Final Fantasy Tactics) and it's a big mess. I've also tried running the game by putting the ppff in the same folder as the bin file and changing the names to match. This applied the patch that has the scrambling...only it actually made it worse and the games that freeze say they can't apply the patch. Is there a setting change outside the "apply patch to image files" one I need to make?

Looks the same as the ps2 emulator which is a good thing in my opinion since it makes it easier to use if you're used to the design. I tried out the epsxe emulator and it was horribly clunky to use with an outdated white and grey interface which hurt my eyes trying to read the descriptions.

I have a question. I just got a used psp 3000 and psp go for $50 each. They are not in CFW and I have been seeing psp running emulators without it being in CFW. I tried commenting on their videos and they all didn't respond and most of the videos have their comments disabled. Is it possible to run emulators on a OFW psp? if so, can you teach me how to?

I came here bc I just got ePSXe to work only to find it made my game staticy and choppy. Duckstation's quality makes my game run like it's the 90's!
It shouldn't be. You do have to configure the graphics properly to get good performance; IE - Don't use Bilinear upscaling mainly.

Nes and Snes emulators aren't that hard to mod and do with hack roms but when doing psx emulator that can be challenging 😌
