    Just something to ponder: I’m 70 years old and have had Parkinson’s Disease for 9 years. More recent research has concluded that exposure to chemicals, solvents, weed killer and household cleaners might make one susceptible to this disease. I am a huge advocate for the use of heavy-duty gloves and an appropriate respirator when cleaning firearms. I cleaned guns for years and bathed in Hopppes and other gun solvents. You have been warned. Also - great video and thanks for taking the time to share your knowledge. I have a Shockwave and this is truly helpful. Jim

    Taking it apart was hard to follow but heck and life it's always easy to take stuff apart it's putting that together that's hard and you explain that perfectly thank you

    It was evident that the person was well schooled in taking it apart, and putting it back together. Would have been great if the video was in slo motion for first time cleaners until they become skilled at doing this. Always a challenge when totally disassembling.

      It doesn’t get much easier than a Glock take it out of battery pull the tabs on the side and pull the slide off then pop out the spring and barrel clean lubricate and put back together takes 10 mins max

    I'm in the middle of reassembling my Shockwave by following this video. It's hard to follow and too fast. Just like other comments mentioned, here I have to search somewhere else to complete this task. Very frustrating. Please take a slower approach next time and consider the viewer.

    Very hard to follow for a first time break down and reassemble. Even pausing the video during reassemble there were times you only showed parts for a second before moving onto the next step. Had to watch a different video to put back together. Try slowing down and showing steps in greater detail.

    I used this video successfully, but damn man; arrange the bolt and reciever in correct orientation on the table and DO NOT twist and turn it as you assemble! Give some warning about the two shell bars falling out of place and the need to use fingers to retain them while getting the trigger assembly to slide foreward. I gave you a tumbs up, but damn! Make me appreciate my 870 WIngMaster, lol

    • @brianbrown9700

      After awhile the bolt amd stuff get easier. The shell stopper amd extractor "bars" fix is use to magnets on the outside of the gun to hold the bars in place hands free. Much easier

      @warmothgmc 6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      A. S. I agree. I use T-shirt rags or cotton shop towels. It’s also a good idea to have compressed air handy to blow out any loose dust mites on everything.

    I’m glad the video exist it just goes way too fast it’s for someone who is super familiar and touches and shoots guns all the time a novice which is me I had to watch it 30 times and read the instructions that came with my shotgun 30 times and it still took me well over an hour to do what you did in five minutes that you probably could’ve did blindfolded would be real nice if you would slow down the video especially when it came to the bolt would’ve been really nice just slow down each step by a few minutes zoom in with the camera that be real nice of you I think I’m going to make my own video

    @Mike_Norris ปีที่แล้ว

    Yeah, it's fast...just slow the video down. The beauty of TH-cam, there's many other videos on there. You can take something from this and something else from another. Once you get a good idea of the assembly at first, keep repeating the process several times for repetition. Once you see how things are correctly aligned, it becomes much easier. Eventually, you'll just get it and instinctively know how to dissemble and put things back together without instruction. The proper alignment is key, focus on that. Play around with it gently for a while so you don't scuff the metal components. It'll make sense at some point and you'll have that "oh yeah!" moment.

    Not enough info you didn’t even really describe how the arms of the pump have to line up with the bolt carrier I’m a rifle and handgun guy so I watched this video got it reassembled and the bolt wouldn’t camber a round because I didn’t know they went together. You know what you’re doing but this isn’t very informative and everything goes by entirely too fast
