Can you describe the installation of servo motors into cnc machine

What is the max tonnage a Fanuc External axis servo drive can run? I would love to swap a 200Ton trim press scrap dump (trunnion) hydraulic motor with 7th axis servo or any servo for that matter. When we have an estop or drop control power in cycle, the immediate stop inertia blow the motor & gear box seals. I'm 120K over on KPI in water glycol fluid for 2023 due to this issue. This does not include the motor & gearbox repairs, downtime, man power for troubleshooting, man power for R & R and shop materials. Any easy to install but robust drive systems will work. Any recommendations are appreciated!!!! I will agree with the MOTOMAN Yaskawa as the #1 choice. Its harder to program, learn, and use but once its running it is hard to stop.

Choosing ONLY using the information you have presented here, and removing my experiences, I would choose Fanuc because they are incredibly well built and accurate and they have integrated them into their own 5 axis and robots, as well as the carbon fiber mega wing and blade machine.
If I had to seriously consider price, I would buy the Chinese version. There is not enough information to decide about Delta. Panasonic is not used in the states as commonly so I would skip it.
As a standalone Servo, there would be no choice at all. Yaskawa has poured Billions into making their servos basically perfect. They would be my overall number one Servo, period.
Where the servo maker has incorporated it's motors into it's own complete complex multi-axis machine, like the Fanuc carbon fibre gantry you showed, I would probably choose that, because they are not just offering a Servo, but a fully integrated system, all of which guarantees a complete, perfect machine, built and tested as a unit, making it all work together with the same quality as just the Servo.
Great video, truly. Even the advertisement was really good. I think, or hope, that controls and HMI could be standardized for each type of machine group.
    Thanks again,
    Joe🙂

I regard India as the best country for producing the absolute best educated people who are also good decent people not like the huge Asian country next door who will lie, cheat, have no morals in what they make, except for a few companies who actually make great products, even if it's because they bought Kuka robotics.
China COULD make 100% Chinese machines for the U.S. Market, let us set up marketing and actual factories where we can add all the controls, HMI, programming, maybe about 25% total of the machine. Get rid of all the fake companies who are just buying other Chinese machines and selling them from a warehouse.
We are developing a revolutionary new business model with limits on executive pay, ALL THE BENEFITS, and pension and employee owned.
Anybody interested in discussing this, especially high quality manufacturers looking to immediately get a large footprint, and somehow, load on as many Indian programmers, researchers, inventors, cad software designers, all the types of engineers and anything I left out.
Let's connect, chat. This a life long connection and business model.
Get my contact info in my about page. This is to be private as long as possible.
PLEASE, let's keep our leaders from destroying life and happiness and families with stupid war fears.
      Bless you all.

@@joediverfl I have tried to build 6th order motion control like the yaskawa's servo (how it was damping the springy system) for the stepper motor with very little success(due to nature of this type of motor ofcourse) but my major role is developing own PLC which I have been doing greatly

@@abhishekkuksal5700 That's great! I wish you great success.
All I know about tech, software, CNC, 3d Laser, etc etc, is because I subscribed to every single industrial magazine that is free for the last three years. :)
I'm so frustrated, because what I am best at is building up groups of companies. Lost it all, 40 million in real estate in 2010, spent 25 years growing it from profits of smaller companies.
I have built an incredible, full spectrum, manufacturing giant, ( just on paper) to be owned by the employees, and the minute I mention that part to ANYBODY, they just walk away.
Just never ever give up, I absolutely guarantee that no matter the failures, or the roadblocks, the only single thing that can keep you from creating your dream is to stop.

Not 100% correct. if there are 1000 CNC machines in Europe only 10 machines may have fanuc. Or the Machines imported from japan or China, Taiwan will have Fanuc. Siemens & Heidenhain controllers & Servos are biggest in Europe and N.American market.
95% CNC machine use only Siemens, Fanuc, Heidenhain, Mitsubushi. Spain & Italy and Big Machines will use Fidia, NUM. High Volume auto component CNC machines in big factories in Europe use Bosch Controller & Servo (Old name Indramat).
