Just purchased one of these as my first hardware synth! Ik it's far from a beginner friendly synth, nor is it the best for learning but I'm super excited to crack into the near endless possibilities. I am also super into sound design and scoring my own short films too it's a win win.
Nice review felt like a real person not some sales demo so appreciated that. Great job 😊 Im from a piano background just tried the minikeys explorer version in a shop. I always hated minikeys on synths but I was really surprised I found these very playable. I'm still looking forward to getting the Deluxe model though . Thanks again
Great playing. Most demo's are waves (which I get but the poly AT is so cool) and not the 'classic' tones. I like this much more. More musical. Allows some faux CS80 stuff.
@@MannysMusic_Online I'm in the process of getting rid of some gear to make room for Hydra or Hydra Deluxe. Such a flexible synth I just hope the front panel is easy to work with because I like to explore sounds and this might be too much.
I don`t get it, i have only two very old keyboards besides my piano, a Korg Triton and a Korg DS-8 and they both have this aftertouch, i never thought this is something special.
Those keyboards feature monophonic aftertouch, if you apply pressure to a single key within a chord on those keyboards, it will modulate the sound for all the notes currently playing. Polyphonic aftertouch allows you to modulate individual notes in a chord by applying different levels of pressure on each key.

I ordered one today. I'll be waiting outside for the DPD van tomorrow morning 👌
Great demo. Finally someone who can play.
Love it guys, sounds so good!
Thank you sir

Very good piano. I have this 3 months and is the narcotic for me..
Great synth with polyphonic aftertouch, especially considering the price ...
This is rad! 👌
Cheers! Thanks for watching.
By May 2024, I hope she’s acquired either this model or one of its siblings. She definitely sounds like she gets it.

Thanks, yes It's certainly capable of getting in that cs80 territory, thankfully without the price tag 😝

"could nearly score an entire film"
the CS-80 also had polyphonic aftertouch and was infact used to score entire films
Blade Runner!!

Finally, all those years of paying for piano practice!

@@MannysMusic_Online no, every key is sensible other notes stay the same 😉
@@wolfgangwiesinger9502 nope; neither has polyphonic aftertouch. Kinda a rare thing until recently; than some old Ensonics and of course. The CS80
