this is a short video on Tata Safari old and new model which is discontinued as well. Safari was the SUV which gave a big SUV feeling even after looking at it. According to me the looks were macho but due to other factors this SUV didnt do that good in terms of sales. No intention of blaming the product from tata"s house. but i always wanted to see this name TATA SAFARI to do good. I have Lots of expectation from the fresh version of Safari. All the best TATA. I would buy this dicor anyday hands down. No other suv can match dicor. Commanding road presence, best looking vehicle. Wide tires with alloys, a bull guard and hella lights on top. You will forget any other car.

This is not the oldest model of Tata Safari ...infact it's the 1998 model which I own.. Safari is the real SUV and also known as the king of the road!!btw dicor is out of production ..but storme is not

I bought this 2.2 dicor vtt model (brand new) in 2012 ("woh zamana"..according to you!)...i love my Beast and believe me its still has an imposing presence on the road.
Yes tata safari has killer looks now as well. And woh zamane means for me it were my school days whn safari was launched. And how old are you plz tell me. Even iam thinking of buying one good used safari. Thanks for watching my video buddy.

Well, no offense but Dicor was an elephant My friend had that car, 20 days in Garage and 10 days at home, kept it for 6 years, ate his 3 lac rupees nearly. hardly driven around 60K Kms
Yes, storme is 10 times better than the Dicor variant, but storme needs a total revamp as its outdated. on average Scorpio sells around 4000 units in one month in India and Safari merely 300 units a month, which is falling day by day since Safari is competed by its own siblings the Hexa and Harrier.
Poor segment orientation by Tata and Tata service guys need to learn how to talk to the customer after selling the product
I had Tata Indigo Dicor 2007 variant at my home, it was an elephant, very powerful at that time but Very heavy on the pocket, sold it in 2013. I promised myself not to buy a Tata anytime soon

it is a great suv... i have one, the 2012 model 2.2 liter Dicor. The engine responds well but the maintenance is costly. if u want a low maintenance, go for the 3 liter dicor engine. the 3 liter dicor will give 5 horse power less but the engine maintenance is cheaper than the 2.2 liter one.......... u would get them between 3 to 6 Lakhs depending on the condition.. but take a note of the average as safari will give u the maximum average of 8 to 10 kmpl
it depends on the condition and model.... if it is a vx oR thE ex model in excellent condition then 4 lakh rupees is a good deal
