    Introduction:
There are three versions of the Watch Fit 2: the active edition, a classic edition and an elegant edition. These versions are mostly the same, except for their looks and the case material of the active editions. Whereas the front case of the classic and elegant editions are made of aluminum, the front ase of the active edition is made from a plastic polymer. This also means that the active edition is slightly lighter at 26 grams, compared to 30 grams for the other two versions, not taking into account the straps. The watch fit 2 comes in a total of 7 colors, depending on the edition you get, you can choose from: Midnight Black, Sakura Pink, Isle Blue, Nebula Gray, Moon White, Premium Gold, and Silver Frost. The straps are also different on each version, but if you want to use it mainly during exercise, it is probably best to go with the active version. In terms of sensors the watch comes with an Accelerometer, Gyroscope, sensor, Geomagnetic sensor and Optical heart rate sensor. These are used to measure your heart rate, sleep, steps and oxygen saturation. It can also track your runs and rides with GPS and several other satellite systems.
    Conclusions:
But, getting back to the Huawei Watch Fit 2, overall I quite like it. The main downsides are the fact that the Huawei Ecosystem is still limiting and the sleep tracking is not great. However, the heart rate tracking is really good, and I also really appreciate the relatively low price and good battery life compared to many other smartwatches. Based on my experience so far, I would give the watch 4 out of 5 stars overall. If you want to buy a Huawei Watch Fit 2, another device or anything at all on Amazon for that matter, even something as small as toothpaste, and at the same time support the channel, there are different affiliate links in the description below that do not cost you any extra and some even provide discounts. So, if you care about heart rate tracking, the Watch Fit 2 seems to be a really good choice. However, if you are on iOS, I do think the Apple Watch is a much more complete smartwatch and it additionally has great heart rate tracking. Also, if you want a more premium heart rate tracker for Android, you could consider getting the Huawei Watch GT 3 Pro. Now, if you want to see future updates on the Huawei Watch Fit 2, consider subscribing to the channel. As I showed, for iOS the Apple Watch is still the undefeated heart rate king, if you want to see more, you can find those videos right here.

The only trusted scientific reviews on smart watch , all others provide only unboxing experience. I have used Huawei watch fit 2 for month now and I can say I am very happy with it accuracy in heart rate and o2 testing with oximeter several times during the month , also I see that stress monitor is relatively indicative as I saw high scores during day when I have problems or debates in work

Are you satisfied with sleep monitoring and data?
Actually,I am still using Xiaomi Mi 4 band, bought it when that store was opened in my city, few years ago...:)
No need to buy new one, this one is still ok,everything else thats new (at Xiaomi ) I am considering as "cosmetic" updates.
However,I am looking for a new band that I can trust ,and also band that doesnt require a new credit card from the bank,so this one seems to me as quite adequate option.
Other options are still expensive ones, such as GT3pro,but its one of the overall best bands.
I dont like Apple in general,so I am looking for different brands.

I bought it yesterday and it has issues picking up an accurate heart rate rating. Is it because of calibration? Or something else, because I fully updated the firmware. Also, a little hairy on the wrist, so does that mess with the accuracy?

I'm currently thinking about buying the fit 2. Can you share your experience with the watch?

    • @illuminatusdeus3051
      @illuminatusdeus3051 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

@@PPGandRRBfan Yep, I've since gone ahead and bought the watch, as the post suggests. Sleep cycles are completely nonsensical, but the heart rate is somewhat accurate (not 100, but think in the 70th percentile range, since it also sometimes looks to scan even if not worn).
You can configure the device for continuous scanning. The app is needed to view the heart rate, you can play music or control your synced Android phone. You can also change faces / screens for the watch. I recently also changed the strap, it is light and basically, for me at least, does Ok - I am only after constant heart monitoring for my aged next of kin.
I have done some testing myself too, I have, on multiple instances, taken heart rate measurement from the Fit2 app, and then compared with an Omron Blood Pressure device and also a separate blood O2 measuring device, the findings correlate, meaning the measurement averages are reliable for heart rate monitoring. Note - only for heart rate monitoring (I work on averages normally).
But do note, blood O2, sleep monitoring and exercise monitoring all FAIL - they are just BAD. I have seen instances where subject walked about 3-5km and the device was not able to know if 10000 steps was complete. Maybe these 'features' were there to fill up the form to call the device a 'smart' watch.
So, heart rate monitor was what I was after, it does that well. Other than that tells time. Hope this experience is helpful to you! All the best!

I think it has a reliable SpO2 measurement. I tried it on a few flights and it was able to register low SpO2 values smoothly during the whole flight. I wish Wellue developed the app a little more. It could show the pleth signal. And also perfusion index as a graph.

Exellent job, Rob! Your testings show that it's obviously possible to get very accurate HR readings from just 2 sensors. It's amazing that the Fit 2 outperforms the GT3, which has a sensor array of 8 and which I was almost going to buy. Waiting for a truly professional review often pays off.
I was looking for a new tracker because I sadly had to return the mi band 7, because I was unable to get even remotely correct readings on my crosstrainer, where the mi band 6 did a much better job than the 7, very much alike to your own stats.
So the Fit 2 is now candidate #1. Just why is the SPO2 tracking worse than that of the Huawei band 6?

    • @synthrequests5880
      @synthrequests5880 ปีที่แล้ว +10

Dude, have I got a story for you.
I recently bought one of Huawei's new "GT 3 SE" models, which are advertised as having the same "TruSeen 5.0+" sensor tech as the top performing GT 3 Pro's, so even though this gentleman hasn't gotten a chance to test the GT 3 SE yet, I assumed it would perform equally well. (I was wrong)
The watch arrived and I was having a good time with it. The heart tracking on it was worlds better than my old Fitbit Sense (ugh!), so I felt happy.
But then I looked closer, and saw that the "GT 3" and "GT Runner" on his chart also have "TruSeen 5.0+" sensor tech, but performed worse than the GT 3 Pro and Fit 2! This made me paranoid about my new GT 3 SE, so I ordered a Fit 2 (which we already know is awesome) and put a watch on each wrist, and compared the two during exercise. I suspected I was being neurotic and crazy for doing this, but I needed to be 100% sure.
I first tried out some sprinting. The GT 3 SE's heart rate reading seemed to lag or hang during quick and sudden heart rate increases. It would just hang there on 116 bpm, seemingly doing nothing, and then it would suddenly correct itself, and shoot up instantly to (the correct) 165. The Fit 2 during this same time would rise more steadily and gradually. "116, 132, 151, 165"
Then I did some pushups to really put them to the test. The difference between the Fit 2 and GT 3 SE was even more pronounced here. I was getting 4-5 heart rate updates on my Fit 2 for every one update on my GT 3 SE. I even swapped wrists to make sure that wasn't the factor. No difference. Again, the GT 3 SE kept lagging and hanging while it struggled to get readings compared to the faster and more adept Fit 2.
It seems like the GT 3 SE either updates its heart rate reading at a lower rate/resolution to save CPU/battery, or it is somehow much worse at filtering out movement and "noise" during workouts compared to the GT 3 Pro and Fit 2, despite having an allegedly equivalent or superior sensor. I kept the Fit 2 and returned the GT 3 SE.
So just goes to show you, "TruSeen 5.0+" is just marketing, and doesn't actually mean anything, especially when the Fit 2 with its piddly little 2 sensors ( ! ) can beat the pants off it.

@@yodanvranx809 I wouldn't hold out hope. the GT3 (non-pro) has the same sensor and heart tracking issues and has been out for a good while, so if they would've found a way to fix it via a simple software update, I feel they would've already corrected both the GT3 and GT 3 SE by now.
My advice is to definitely pull the trigger on the Fit 2. the only features it's lacking compared to the GT 3 SE (to my knowledge) is the altimeter/barometer. all the other features it has, and it even has pre and post run warmup and stretch exercises that the GT 3 SE doesn't have.
not to mention the aesthetics of the Fit 2 are much better imo, looks more sleek and modern, actually has a metal casing, while the GT 3 SE looked and felt very cheap and plasticky.

My question is whether this watch can be used as a standard Bluetooth heart rate sensor to pair with third party apps like the Renoho AI Gym for Renpho Smart AI bike?

I ordered the Watch Fit 2 and was excited to try out the heart rate precision. Disappoingly, I cannot confirm the outstanding results from this video. Measured against my Polar H10 chest strap, the heart rate values are off by a large amount, and it gets worse during any kind of workout. I'm sure I've had the watch tightly enough around my arm. Not sure what causes the discrepancies between the video and my own measurements, but I'll definitely return mine.

I'm really interested to see a review on the Huawei Watch D. Huawei seem to do so well on tracking other metrics, it will be interesting to see if they're the first to do blood pressure measurements any justice.
PS Love the work on this channel! I don't look at any other "reviews" of smart watches because I honestly don't care how shiny or matte the face is - I can look at pictures for appearance info but this is the only channel that tells me whether the measurement features are any good.

For the past week or so I've really been on the edge about buying this watch. The specs and quality-price ratio seem great, but as an owner of a Xiaomi Pocophone, I'm not sure whether this device is worth the hustle of having to download a third party appstore. Having to put a little extra effort to install it doesn't bother me, but I have read many comments from people who have been doing this and are complaining about their phone getting inaccurate info about their steps count/heart rate etc, as well as the watch constantly disconnecting from their phone.
After weeks of research I still haven't been able to find a better option for this price, but I'm not sure whether this whole Huawei/Xiaomi thing will work out for a tolerable user experience...

I'm planning to upgrade from Watch Fit to its successor (this Watch Fit 2), and I'm really sad to see that their sleeping monitor (at least in detecting the sleep patterns) has slightly decreased based on your calculations. First of all I d like to congrat you for being unbiased.
I have the following smart watches
    1)Mi Watch
    2)Mi band 7
    3)Watch fit new
    4)Watch fit 2
Your findings are exactly like what I am experiensing with my watches.
The "Watch fit 2" is the latest one I bought and I am surprised with the HR accuracy and the step counting but the sleep tracking is a joke.
I really hope a following update will fix this ...because the "Watch fit new" could detect the sleep and awake stages very nicely ( it was just adding some more deep sleep)
    STAY UNBIASED

Is the watch fit 2 better at heart rate tracking than the watch fit new? It’s my deciding factor between the two

    • @Maximum_Natural_Muscle
      @Maximum_Natural_Muscle ปีที่แล้ว +2

@@Grutchies The HR accuracy I had with these 2 watches was very similar. Both amazing.
Go to a store a try them on your hand to see which one fits you best...
If you have a normal or small wrist then you should go for the watch fit new.
If you have a huge wrist , then go for the watch fit 2.
The watch fit new had a lot better sleep accuracy when I tested them( some months ago).
The reason I gave both of these watches is because the SENSOR on both watches is huge and pointy and it digs on your skin and tissues and if you want to have correct measurements by wearing it tight enough.... then it is impossible because you ll end up with a nerve damage or something.
Thats why I am telling you.... go and try them.
Keep in mind that the Huawei band 6 has the same accuracy in the HR and sleep as the watch fit new.In fact its the same algorithms but on different designs watches.
And the good thing about it is that the sensor is completely FLAT and you can wear it 24/7.
This was my choice in the end.
      I hope I helped.
