Nitro Rad mentioned that Butch sounds like Stitch in this game. But, am I the only one who hears a voice like that and immediately think of Meatwad from Aqua Teen Hunger Force?
I'd say for Cindy's two designs, the change from pigtails to ponytail helps communicate how time passed between the movie and the series, and maybe part of Cindy's character if you read into it. She puts a lot of stock in being taken seriously, so choosing to drop the pigtails in order to look more mature fits right in with her personality.
3:30 Even though I'm not super into My Hero Academia, that's the one thing I kind of liked about All-Might. Even thought that he is weaker without his powers, he still had a sense of justice and actually show true appreciation to his fans.
On the debate of Cindy's hair, which sort of reminds me of a similar thing with the Dragon Ball fandom and Videl's hair, I'd say I much prefer her single ponytail to the twintails. It just suits her character more. With the twintails, it makes her seem more like a brat that's only purpose is to be a mean girl while the ponytail makes her seem more like she'd be a rival to Jimmy.
I'm pretty much the same way to be honest, though I do slightly prefer her outfit from the movie more, I do agree that the single ponytail looks way better on her and suits her more.
Thanks for the hint about picture sliding puzzles. I remember the last level's got me so stuck, I gave up and never finished the game until years later
I was never a big Jimmy Neutron fan as a kid, but the Jet Fusion episodes sound like fun. Though it's kinda hilarious that Christian Slater was the guy who played Jet
I’ll be honest, I thought Coach Levi was gonna be Professor Calamitous when I played this game (the first level, anyway) as a kid. He was tripping over his sentences and his name is an anagram of “evil”. Kinda glad he wasn’t, though.
Great review of the game. It's one of my childhood games and one of the first games I ever longplayed when I started out on youtube. I've been debating revisiting it and rocket power Beach bandits again. I think you might enjoy beach bandits
You're definitely right on kids getting stuck at the vehicle races in the game, as a kid I always was stuck on them and frustrated about it. Now a days, I can finish them fine enough, but the part that genuinely pissed me off replaying it, was the actual NEED for "nav chips" to get to the final level. I ended up ignoring them on my recent playthrough, since I was playing the levels and worlds in order... I don't even dislike the idea of the item, being able to collect enough to open the next world ahead of time, especially so you could collect the other weapons in the game... The issue comes from what was initially an optional item, becoming necessary to open up the last level from collecting them all... If I had gotten to that point when I was a kid, I would have been so pissed, but I did it all to just have it finally finished... I still have good memories about this game though, and it was interesting hearing from someone familiar with the Ty games and how it compares, all in all I was glad to watch this video, and I can't wait for the Attack of the Twonkies review man. 👍
I've been waiting for you to do this one. I've only ever played the demo for this on a ps2 demo disc and thought it was fun, but never played the full game. So I've been curious what the rest of it was like. Also finding out that this was made by Krome is mind blowing.
I honestly prefer Cindy's modern design over her old movie design: something about poofy twintails on someone that's not Harley Quinn doesn't really look good to me.
Her series design makes her look less ‘kiddish’, if that makes sense. And I like Libby’s season 2 hair better than season 1 as it made her feel less like just a black Cindy.
Aw man, this was the one I was waiting for you to do, as it was one of the first games I got for the PS2. I liked it a lot but never beat it like most games you grow up with. Good review. ^^

Nitro Rad mentioned that Butch sounds like Stitch in this game. But, am I the only one who hears a voice like that and immediately think of Meatwad from Aqua Teen Hunger Force?
I'm more used to Cindy's show appearance, but neither really strike me as better than the other.
Butch kinda looks like an Earthbound character.
I feel like this game could do with a remaster of sorts that fixes the issues that show up, especially near the ending portion.
I was never a big Jimmy Neutron fan as a kid, but the Jet Fusion episodes sound like fun. Though it's kinda hilarious that Christian Slater was the guy who played Jet
JIMMY NEUTRON: *has a bully character named Butch*
COOL CAT: Write that down! Write that down!
I’ll be honest, I thought Coach Levi was gonna be Professor Calamitous when I played this game (the first level, anyway) as a kid. He was tripping over his sentences and his name is an anagram of “evil”. Kinda glad he wasn’t, though.
20:08 I see Jimmy went to the crash bandicoot school of atlas sphere
It still messes with me that Christian Slater voiced Jet Fusion and then later went on to play himself in Archer.
It's like a spy full circle.
Cindy's boss fight is annoying? Well, I guess that's on-brand with her character.
Consistent with the show's character, but still bad.
@@JaniHorvat1 I mean, I didn't say it wasn't bad, just that it's what I expect from her XD
Great review of the game. It's one of my childhood games and one of the first games I ever longplayed when I started out on youtube. I've been debating revisiting it and rocket power Beach bandits again. I think you might enjoy beach bandits
So, how did Professor Calamitus have a kid when he never finishes?
Those fairly odd parents models are Kinda crisp given the poly count
Goddard sounds like a cross between Bill Murray and the How It's Made narrator in this game
Funny you should mention that, it’s Frank Welker(who also voices Goddard) also known for voicing Ray Stenz in ‘The Real Ghostbusters’ animated series
I love how varied the games you play are, my favourite youtuber lol
Can we expect a review of Lisa: The timeless soon? 👀
17:14 Be honest James, you’d have Pirates in a spy film if you made one too
Pretty coincidental because of yesterday’s announcement
Which kinda announcement?

Now here's a game I remember playing!
Didn't get far though...
hold on... that thumbnail... just lemme see...
I can recognise that Framemeister remote from anywhere.
I fell asleep while watching this and had a dream that you were explaining why one of the characters had changed skin color halfway through an episode
