It’s funny, I just did the opposite. I had the iPad Pro 2017 model and in 2021 switched to the iPad Mini (6 gen). Then last week I traded in my iPad Mini for the M4 iPad Pro 13” and I don’t regret it at all. The 13” screen is perfect for my needs, painting in Procreate, Zoom meetings and watching movies and shows in bed and on the go. The Pencil Pro was an absolute must for me, but I don’t need a keyboard for my use case.
Yeah I know many people who stand buy that 12.9/13” size and some who even want larger! And I wish I was the same, glad you’ve been enjoying that pencil pro too!
I love my iPad mini, absolutely love it, can’t wait till the iPad mini seven comes out. Just yesterday I downsize from a 12.9 inch iPad Pro fourth generation to the iPad Air M2, 11 inch, this thing is amazing and I don’t even miss the bigger iPad at this point! I’m definitely not a pro model user, I use an iPad for basic stuff so this iPad Air is quite amazing
I just bought the m4 iPad Pro coming from the 12.9 pro 4th gen. I love the more portable design. I bring my iPad with me everywhere. After 4 years I’m happy to have a lighter option for sure 👍🏽
I bought the 11” iPad Pro m4 and the Logitech Touch keyboard so I can use the iPad as a tablet and still have protection. I am certain that the main reason macOS is not on the iPad is because it does not support touch and that multitasking would make the iPad hot and slow. Try to render 4 hi-res 4K videos on the MacBook Air and you will see what I mean about processor slows down
11 or 13 is quite subjective, for me is go big or go home, i cant imagine owning the 11inch as ive had the chance to check out both in person and everything is better on the 13, screen size, battery life, more content, speakers, 13 inch is also quite portable even in an aircraft so i cannot understand why people return the 13 for the 11
I agree 💯! When I was In Bestbuy and saw the 11” and the 13” side by side it was a no brainer to go with the 13”. Especially for media consumption and art apps like Procreate. The 13” is amazing and more compact than a MacBook Air or Pro.
Totally understandable! I wonder if I had a larger MacBook if my preference for the 12.9 would be different but I know a ton of people who prefer the larger models! Apple knows what they’re doing by having both for sure
Love my MBP but it can’t replace my iPad unless Apple adds built in cellular and a rear facing camera. Just trying to decide if I want to downsize from the older 12.9 to the new 11.
I feel like apple would rather all Mac users move to iPad os than move Mac OS to the iPad Pro. They have way more control over iPad os and we all know how apple loves control
For me the brillant 13 inch is far superior coming from an 11 inch m2. So thin and light that even for media consumption I like it more. What many forget is the aspect ratio 4:3 vs. 3:2 which you really have to try before deciding

Glad to hear that! I know some people absolutely love that larger design but it definitely isn't for everyone

Do it. It’s my favorite iPad. iPad Pro 11” M4 Chefs kiss!
If I have an M1 iPad Pro should I trade it in to get the M4 iPad Pro the current trade in value for my current iPad Pro is $375
I would try to sell it outside of trading it in because you could probably get more selling it to someone
why I am waiting fo ra 16''. and have zero interest in small iPad Pro ....

i did the same and i love it
