Aristocratic rule no. one: A hat or fascinator goes with a short ensemble only (daytime wedding). As soon as you are wearing floor length gowns to a wedding, the hat has to go. Maybe, just maybe, some feathery arrangement/hair ornament (aigrette) might do for the long gown.
All that Dante seems to do is clean the front counter all day. Also, the women who dress them always pick the colour teal even after clients say no to it. All the dresses are so old fashioned and not in a good way. Same as the sales team they are just as outdated in their attitudes as the clothes. I'm close to 70 and wouldn't be seen dead in any of their frumpy outfits.
Well I am 86 and am (excuse me) upper class. I would never ask this owner to help me to choose any dress. Being a young looking and acting 86 year old, I think these assistants are far too old to help any woman younger than themselves.
@@Pixie-ix1so in UK most weddings start about 2pm. Usually MofB doesn’t change for evening reception but will remove their coat and hat after the meal. Very few people in the UK have formal wear for evening.
I find Barbara to be very condescending. Don’t think she should be working in a dress shop with customers. Marcy seriously needs to stay in her lane! She may know hats, but lust looking at what she’s wearing, it’s obvious she does not know the first thing about clothes!
Omg, my son is getting married in June this year. I love shopping especially clothes shopping but finding a dress for this wedding is doing my head in. We don’t have many shops with appropriate dresses where I live. It’s so hard
Trisha needs a decent hair cut and styling. Do the Americans think we don’t have heating in our buildings if their doing weddings? My daughter gets married in one soon, it has plenty of heating.
I m so happy with these episodes! Binging them! I would bring my daugther and daugther in law Their opinion matter to me I would love a male opinion too Poor groom: ohh crap! I love the sassy mom Irish wedding, waaw! I loved the teal on her ohh the paler dress is grate on her First the dress than the hat ladies! I love a fascinator/ hat
Margaret should retire -- her picks are... odd at best. And she acts like she's fed up with everything, including her job... and, well, her life too, it seems. Let the woman go get her rest :)
***Why on earth would one take folk with one to select a dress that is to be wearn on one's own body? It is my body! I know what is great on MY body! I would be paying for said dress. Maybe it is part of TV drama, as makes absolutely makes no sense.******
I hate the word, "bling". It can mean so many things. Why not describe the fabric, or form of decoration? The word, "bling", sounds like it will be cheap and nasty.
Hat lady should stick to hats. It doesn’t matter if the hat and the outfit look good together, if it doesn’t suit the person wearing it. I think she was rude and pushy.

The lady with the first grey dress looked fantastic
I would have told the fascinator woman to take a hike
Love the mother of the groom in the grey dress n jacket classy and looked fab on her ❤
That hat designer has NO clue !!!!! BUTT OUT !!!!
The uglier the dress, the better the hat looks 😅
I'm truly surprised that Barbara and Margaret are able to sell any outfits 😅😅
I am 60 from Australia and find it all to old fashioned
Grab a dress and plonk it on. The last lady looked nicer in the aubergine dress. Her choice looked so old fashioned.
Hat / fascinator mother / mother in laws don’t have to wear them in Southern Ireland, it’s a personal choice .
Don’t have to ear them anywhere lol. 😅
We do not outshine the bride no way! Let them have their one day where they are the centre of attention !!
The teal green dress with the feathered fascinator 👌
They are so wrong about hats with long dresses 😂😂😂
It would be nice to know the price of the dresses.

agreed. Given that they are wearing teal themselves it’s like they’re trying to put their style onto the ladies.

I think this was filmed over 10 years ago 😊
The show is from 2013. And the dresses are still frumpy for then . And if I hear 'rouged' instead of ruched , one more time! Aaargh!!😂
Oh, Belfast. Northern Ireland, not really Ireland!
Your wedding is in Northern Ireland
It seems a very small colour choice, where are the pastels and patterns
In Ireland and the UK most Mother’s of the Bride wear hats or fascinator’s
To a day wedding, yes!! Not for the evening reception though!!! And Never a Hat with a Long Formal Evening Gown.

Margarat is hilarious 😂😅😊❤
Monetta you are stunning. Xxx❤❤❤❤❤ very glam.
Monetta is soooo elegant ✨️ 😍 👌

Why do they have such old-fashioned dresses for the mothers? I wouldn't wear 99% of them to anything!
The gorgeous mothers are not supposed to outshine the bride
Should this be titled "What Not To Wear" 😬
These women think they are the brides and everything revolves around them.

You surely did win 😉
'I'm the aristocracy' to which Princess Anne would reply 'Naff Orff' 😂
Correct. The woman has no idea about true Aristocracy. Ideas above her station obviously.

And the ‘Clown’. Brilliant commentary.
Margaret is hysterical 🤣.
"She's large in the bosom". Showing her age there. Most of us would think, or say "great boobs" & not make a negative thing of it.
Too many cooks . I chose my wedding dress on my own. I also have numerous beautiful ball gowns. I trust my own opinion.😂😂😂
All of them staff are a little bit arrogant, no? 👀
Margaret is not a fashionista time too put your feet up a bit love
I m so happy with these episodes!
Binging them!
I would bring my daugther and daugther in law
Their opinion matter to me
I would love a male opinion too
Poor groom: ohh crap!
I love the sassy mom
Irish wedding, waaw!
I loved the teal on her
ohh the paler dress is grate on her
First the dress than the hat ladies!
I love a fascinator/ hat
Barbara your face😂😂😂😂
Anyone think the blonde who hasn't said anything.. with the hat group.. sitting on a lounge by herself looks like Diana ?
Yesss 😂 that's what I was thinking! Like older version. Of her ..(am not trying to be mean)just saying 💐it's funny somebody also registered it :D
No.
Wow that hat lady was rude and her hats were boring
Belfast is not in Ireland 🙄
It’s Northern Ireland.

Those Jackets the staff are horrible, no shape or style 😢
With friends like that who needs enemies
Aristocratic ! With that colour hair, don't think so.
I no i was thinking the same myself miaw 😹sorry don’t want too be mean but the colour needs toned down a bit
Oh dear.....,
The fascinator lady needs to go home
My mother wore black too my 2 sisters wedding and mine 😿😹
The hat designer who is she!! She needs to butt out.😮😮😮😮

Where is this beautiful dress boutique.

Who or WHAT they are going to bring !
Never take men shopping😂😂😂
Don't like the grey fascinator with that dress
The consultants don’t have any style sense and the dresses in the shop are not flattering. Those poor mothers of the bride!!
Sorry but I hate all those dresses
If they are talking about fascinators being the in thing this show must be quite old

Marcie. Court jester was correct. Too interfering and obnoxious in her approach to everything.
The hats are styled wrong it looked ridiculous sorry,
dats why they looked odd
