Your design was absolutely amazing. I liked the OST and how you linked it to the sound of thunder. And when Chrollo opened the bag in a disturbing way. I'm sure you caught the look of his astonishment at Killua. It was a frightening shot with the rest of the members crying over what happened.
I hope madhouse will still be the one to animate.

Of course music as well. But the delivery of every scene behind York New and Chimera arc were the works of the animators and director.

One thing no one seems to mention is that in the manga, Chrollo discovers that there were a lot of cigarette butts all around where camera sets would normally be standing. It’s worth considering that they very likely also tortured poor Sarasa with said cigarettes in the process of hurting her.

@@Doma-o2x Exactly. Just like Chrollo, Kurapika KNOWS and accepts that in order to further his goal, he'll have to sacrifice his moral integrity. Chrollo makes the same decision, but unlike Kurapika, wasn't blessed with positive influences that act as an anchor.
Chrollo needed a Gon; someone from the outside that doesn't condemn him, all the while having his best interests in mind. In his circles, Chrollo is the one others depend on, while also having no one to lean against.
Kurapika has, at the very least, minimum of three people. His friendship with Gon, Leorio and Killua is superior because he stands among equals, whereas Chrollo (while unanimously loved by the Troupe) is still, in a way, isolated from his group (doubly so now that Shalnark's dead).
Also, there's still the "We always pick the gauntlet" comment from Franklin, insinuating that the Kurtas may have done something in the Meteor City to start the beef. (Maybe killed Sheila)

This is so heart breaking. Seeing this animated in the official anime would hqve me crying. I may eventually get there. I can imagine young children going through that. No wonder they ended up how they did.

if a little tear jerker stereotypical sob story makes you almost forget their depraved actions then you need some self reflection to do. And then people criticise Gon for exacting justice on a single ant.
@@ambatuBUHSURK I don't think that's the point of this flashback. It's just trying to show you how they became the way they are... You can feel bad for them as kids but you shouldn't forget what they are now... This also might tie into the fourth prince or Kurapkia's story, so we'll have to wait to see.

What's funny is that Chrollo and his lads are in the business of doing their own voice overs of the tape they found at this point in the story, so it would be in the spirit of HxH if we were to do this. :)

Ahhh this chapter. Nice work. Leaving out Sarasa's forehead was a... choice. Did I just see a crying Feitan? I like the way you designed his hair, like little black flames.
I think this is the first time I realized that Machi and Feitan were as tiny as Sarasa and Paku on their knees.
Chrollo might be foreshadowing for Kurapika and his fate.
Did y'all notice how the light disappeared from chrollo's eyes the moment he opened the bag?! It was the moment that created Chrollo the heartless criminal.

This only took you a week? That's totally nuts, it looks and sounds EXACTLY like the 2011 anime. Not to mention the child versions of the troupe have never been animated so you would have had to make them in the 2011 style from scratch. The level of talent needed to absolutely nail the style of the show is super crazy, great job!
