I’m by no means an older woman and I’m definitely not a dermatologist. There are a few things I’ve learned over time. One: notice how your skin is your skin tone at the beginning. Then notice the redness at the very end. We love a queen who takes care of herself but girly pop you’re actually irritating your skin. I can assure you that you don’t need that many products! Unfortunately the internet and influencers make it seem like you need more than you actually do. Cleanse, exfoliate (if u choose to), mask (if u also choose to I personally don’t do either of these), toner, then serum, then moisturizer, and finally sunscreen! Getting a good sunscreen is half the battle, I’d recommend finding a Korean or Australian brand that works for u as those are some really wonderful options. I’d be happy to give more advice where I can.

Thank you! So I’m having a hard time picking which toner! I like a hyaluronic acid yet I like vitamin c! How do you know which one to use?

@@amberleighkubinafirstly. Vitamin C serum is used to help give your skin that brightness and to protect and repair skin to the degree that it can. Hyaluronic acid is essentially your shield for your skin barrier. Vitamin C is generally used in morning routines while the acid can be used for either. Some people do use both in one routine, in which case vitamin first and then your hyaluronic. Just be mindful of not dumping too much on your skin all at once. Another thing I learned is not to scrub, gently massage your face especially if you can be prone to acne. Though it’s a good rule for skin care in general. Also if you’re determined to reduce wrinkles (I think they’re pretty btw queen) I would avoid makeup wipes for removing makeup. It’s not the greatest anyway and theirs a lot of makeup removal options out there that don’t result in scrubbing off your makeup! Also don’t be afraid to try brands you might see at a Walmart (cerave, bubble, cetaphil.) Sometimes you can find stuff that works for your skin that might be a cheaper price. Personally I use a Cerave acne cleanser because I’m extremely acne prone. Make sure to wash your hands before a routine! You got this girl!
