- Sonic the Hedgehog Pocket Adventure (Neo Geo Pocket) All Bosses (No Damage). It is a platform game developed and published by SNK and released for the Neo Geo Pocket Color in 1999. My recorded gameplay without taking damage.

This game is surely a wierd mix between Sonic 2 and Sonic 3 with Modern Sonic's design, all on a non-sega console.
And it's the first handheld sonic game on a non-sega console!
You mean Sonic the Hedgehog 2 on Game Gear? It's very much influenced by that, right down to the sound effects and graphics.

The semifinal boss is like Big Arm combined with the Death Egg Robot.
Without a single word of dialogue, this game told a better story than any modern Sonic game.

Sonic Rush Adventure:
As strange as it is using Sky Sanctuary music for the final boss, I can kind of see what they were probably going for. Like a motivational “You’re fully powered up, go get ‘em Sonic!” kind of mood.
Maybe it would’ve worked better as a pinch theme when the boss is at low health?

Now that you're talking about it, it makes sense that this becomes the transition point for Eggman's outfit.

I call this came sonic 2.5 because it has combined elements from sonic 2 and sonic 3 and Knuckles

I think the audio tracks were mixed up in development, they have sky sanctuary music for the final boss, but they have doomsday zone music for the fight with mecha sonic.
Both tracks feel out of place, hell sky sanctuary shouldn't even be a boss theme, have it be a stage theme, and replace with idk, a rendition of the sonic 2 boss theme, which'd fit VERY well considering that's sonic 2 mecha sonic, if you're gonna recycle, RECYCLE CORRECTLY!
Well when you fight mecha sonic in sonic 3&knuckles it uses doomsday zone theme

I wonder why in all handhelds Sonic games the first boss has a hammer-like theme attack.
Only started with this one...or the GBA. The Game Gear games didn't have any hammering bosses that I'm aware of.

Bosses are way too easy. For example, the Bomber bombs have the right idea. The rest barely attack. Also, Eggman dies apparently.
