I'm glad you took some time for yourself. I hope you are feeling better since your surgery. It can take a lot out of you. Thank you for the always-lovely card designs and for the interesting techniques.
So VERY happy you are continuing these videos! I am NOT a big fan of all the "live" talkie how to ones. I usually watch late at night when everyone is sleeping, with the sound off so I also love the way I can read what is happening as well as watch. Thanks for knowing there are many types of viewers who all like different ways to learn. Keep up your wonderful work!!!!!!
If you had watched her videos routinely, she told us she had a shoulder surgery which has limited her arm mobility and was also feeling like she was in a creative “block”. She clearly stated she was doing the lives to at least give us something rather than doing nothing at all. Jennifer, thank you for all you do, in any format. I hope your long and continued recovery is going smoothly.
Continue to do whatever types of videos you wish. There is an audience for everything and, guess what, a live video is a recorded one later. Thank you for using your time to teach us!
Hi Jennifer, I need these kind of videos to learn about new products & techniques… I live in a time zone that makes watching lives impossible… I don’t rewatch as it is boring & reinforces the feeling of having missed out. These kinds of videos are also efficient way to learn.
Thank you for another great tutorial. As others have said, I don't care for the "live" videos. I find that I lose patience with the chit chat and turn the video off quite quickly. I enjoy your videos because you share what you've learned so openly. When I taught card making classes I tried to do the same. You offered an excellent tip re using the post-it note to help with creating your cutting line for sentiment strips. Thank you again for continuing to offer your experience.
Thanks for the Post-It Note tip when cutting the sentiment strips - I can't tell you how many times I've misjudged and cut them wrong! I'll use this method from now on. Love your cards today!
I love all your videos but the pre recorded classes are the most awesome! So many great ideas in so little time! Thank you for taking the time to share!
Beautiful cards, Jennifer. My favorite is the big hugs, but I love them all. I pray you gave yourself much needed TLC and you are well rested. Take care and thanks for the video. I truly look forward to many more. ❤💛💜
Glad you are doing well. I enjoy your videos very much. I am not a fan of the live videos that anyone does, main reason they are too long, but I know several people enjoy them.
Gorgeous stencil creations! Love the resist with the pastes and oh my those two tone hearts, adorable! Clever trick with the the lighter then darker layers. Worked a treat once you worked out the final approach. Love that you share the whole process and reason along the way. I always learn so much from you! Clever trick for quick stacked diecuts too!! The layered houses at the end are so fun. Gorgeous finished cards, all of them xoxo
Every single time I see you use Solar paste I say I have to get some of that. I appreciate how you demonstrate products before I invest in them. Cute cards. Thanks for the video.
YOU DESERVE A BREAK too Jennifer. So Glad you’re willing to give YOURSELF One!! And YOU please give yourself permission to take one and for as long as YOU feel like YOU need to take one! YOU Bless US with your crafty amazing-ness so much PLEASE take the breaks to relax and recharge yourself and enjoy your family and what YOU want🩷 Guilt Free! Cheering you on always! Forever loyal! Love Andrea.
Thank you for continuing to make these videos. I'm not always able to watch the live ones but am happy to watch these at my leisure. You share sooo much that even though I have been stamping over 20 years, l still learn something new from you. You are a jewel in this somewhat chaotic world we live in. God bless you! Much love and hugs.
Hi Jennifer...love your idea of using the post it notes to line up your sentiments...I always seem to cut mine crooked..😅 love your cards as always...rainy day here in Queensland Australia so it was nice to relax with a cuppa & watch you craft 😊
After making dozens of Christmas cards and celebrating the holiday season, I fell into a creative slump. Thanks for the stenciling ideas, I've been looking for a new technique to kick start my creativity for 2024. Happy New Year and happy crafting.
Thank you for this great tutorial! I really need to make better use for my stencils. This video has inspired me to branch out a bit and get some pastes to try with my stencils. Loved all of your cards!
Thank you for your ideas, Jennifer! The ink resist over pastes is a cool idea, and I like those stencil sentiments at the end you did with three or four colors! 💌
This is such a fun thing to do. I don't use embosssing paste nearly enough. However, whichever paste I used, it just SOAKED up the ink. The paste held the ink better than the paper. LOL I tried buffing it off, but it's there to stay. Still pretty, but not the effect I was going for. I'll try again with a different type of embossing paste.
Hee hee. Good thing I didn’t blurt out my question when I thought of it (see comment in next video that I watched first…my brain…my brain…it makes my head spin). You talked about postage later on. The second question is: I’ve never tried using scraps of card stock for layering. Do you find that it adds enough weight to increase the postage? I hope you enjoyed the holiday season and feel refreshed. I missed this type of video. Glad you’re back. Keep on creating ❤. It is loved and appreciated. In fact, I’m adding you to my journal today next to a heart. I use the heart to indicate that something I am grateful for follows. I fill it in with a sparkly highlighter because it makes me happy. Enjoy your day!
I wondered why you recommend using a foam applicator for the distess inks when stencilling. I love the result I get using a brush like you're using in the 2nd card.
Looks exactly like the main square in Stockholm's old town. Just the colours should have been red on the left house and yellow on the right. Brilliant card!
Thank you Jennifer, I enjoyed watching as always. You are appreciated! I am from Denver Colorado but watching from overseas! You are such a wealth of knowledge and information. You are a blessing!
Also, I adore the color of your nails in this video! So much so that I had to watch it twice because the first time I kept getting distracted by the nails lol! Any chance you could let me know the color and manufacturer of polish or press-ons (if that’s what they are)? I’m kind of obsessed with the color! As always, thanks Jennifer!
Jennifer, I needed to hear your voice and fun card techniques ❤️ Things very tough right now. Thank you for ministering to me and helping me get out of my head. You always make me smile ❤😊
This is a hard time of year for many of us, the world feels a bit crazy these days as well. Coming together with a focus on creativity is always nourishing and healing. Thank you for all you offer us Jennifer! Lighter days will prevail again! 🤗🤗💗
Jennifer, I have used Glossy Accents on my balloons, and it caused the stacked sentiment to separate. How much Glossy Accents do you use? Love the way you teach... thanks
While I enjoy all your videos, I much prefer the crafting videos over the live ones. The crafting videos seem to be more focused, organized, and to the point, while the live seem to be more of a social gathering.
That post it note trick was a great idea!

Love your pre recorded videos.
I truly enjoy all your videos - live or prerecorded! I don’t often get to catch the lives while they are live, but I like to watch them later too.
This heart background would make a beautiful scrapbooking paper. I loved it! 😍

It can add postage but mainly if it is more than 1/4'' thick. Thicker can't go through the machines and they charge more.

Good morning, from rainy, dreary, Florida.
Great video! You’ve been missed 🤗
What about using glue that dries clear? Even adding mica powder into the glue to get the iridescent effect?
Fantastic video!! So many great tips! Hope your time off was enjoyable and d restful!!
God bless! Hugs sent from nj to you!
Thank you, Jennifer for continuing the regular videos. I've missed yours. I really do not have the time to spend watching live videos.

Hello from Ontario 🇨🇦
Gorgeous

🥶❄️ 🇨🇦 Good morning from the frigid North-- Calgary, Alberta😊
Great tips! Thank you!
Love how you did that!!!
I love all the cards you made!
Great tips
I’m a pre-record gal. Lives are not for me. I have time restrictions. Great video!
QUESTION: Loved this video! Is there a link to the "block hand sander" that you used in this video? I could really use something like this.
www.simonsaysstamp.com/products/paper-artsy-sanding-blocks-set-of-5-01175
@@jennifermcguireink Thank you so much!
Fancy!!!❤
I have Luna paste, works with this technique?
With the paste technique, why not just do the ink blending then stencil overtop
Like, n share!
Where do you get that paper sander? I didn't see it listed.
