What gorgeous cards you have created Jennifer (as always)! I love the foiling on colored card stock, especially the dark blue with the white pigment ink. But there’s something about each card that makes me think it’s my favorite! They are all very lovely!
WOW! Just WOW! 😮. I wish I had seen this before I made my sister’s birthday card.
I am so so so glad your recorded videos are coming back. Missed them amongst the live ones. Thank you so much for taking the time to do these ❤
be sure to look at my channel - i have been doing lots of pre-recorded!
Again, so happy that you featured larger card sizes...I make mostly A6 and A7 cards!
I am always sooo happy to see 5x7 cards in demoes! Thanks very much. Your example was beautiful 💞
Really enjoy your tutorials.
Love how you achieve such different looks from similar products and that foiling is beautiful. In Australia the A6 is our go to small size but I have started making A2 to fit dies and stencils. 5 x 7 is a good size for something special - thank you for helping us stretch our supplies
As always, I have learned so much! Great tip about using the sponge type blender with pigment ink! I just got my Better Press on Friday and now I really want to buy the Glimmer Machine! I also love to use my Mink Mini with toner card fronts...easy peasy! I will so miss your beautiful personality at Create this year. Next year I will go again for sure! :)
Love your lives Jennifer xx tj alias Tania, granny from Uk ❤
Those 3 cards are so gorgeous-such an inspiration-that gold foil really packs a punch with all that shine! Just love the way you blended those blue colors together!
I have used chalk pastels on my postage collage stencils. Basically I started with q tips, I think you call them. We call them cotton buds in Australia! I can leave the pastel in the box and just rub along it too get the colour. I use crystal coat (a lot of artists just use hair spray, but I bought mine before I knew about that!) to set the colour. The colours are gorgeous! I'd like some sentiment dies, but from experience I know I don't always like what I buy...
Thank you Jennifer. Beautiful cards. 👏😊💕
Such gorgeous cards, Jennifer 💛. And I really like the A6 card size, too 😁.
Beautiful cards, Jennifer!
Gorgeous cards,and great tips!
Love the cards and information! Thanks 😊😊
Beautiful cards Jennifer.
I absolutely LOVE these hot foil plates!!! Makes me wish I had a foil machine. Thanks for sharing these beautiful cards with us Jennifer!

These are really beautiful! I would absolutely buy it if it were a stamp and stencil since I don't foil.

Beautiful cards. Thanks so much for sharing.
You are so welcome!

Just beautiful. I may have to order a foiling machine.
Beautiful cards.
Truly, everything you do is helpful to me. These cards are stunning. Btw, I love your voice and your hands are beautiful.
Gorgeous cards.❤❤❤
Love all of these cards Jennifer! Those foil plates and stencil bundle are hard to get your hands on. I have been on notify when in stock for a month! They are so pretty! Fun but beautiful techniques! Thank you!
Once again, Thank You, for doing these informative video's. I recently bought the Betterpress and Glimmer Hotfoil machine, and I do love to fet as much information as I can get. I haven't been able to use the hotfoil machine just yet, but gosh.... The look is just beautiful.
Your cards.... I love them. I love the ink stenciled blending on the darker cardstocks. The navy one... ❤
The other two are so gorgeous. The beautiful ink blending on the white one.... Outstanding.
I think you always seen to choose just the perfect colors.
Thanks again Jennifer 😘
These are ALL beautiful cards! Thank you for sharing your creativity with us.
Stunning. The foil is gorgeous. I'm glad you used colored cardstock.
These cards are stunning:) Tfs and God bless:)
Thanks so much!
Gorgeous foiling on dark card stock
Speechless 😍😍😍😍
So creative and beautiful
Beautiful cards.
Thank you for the tips on how to stretch our supplies. 🦋
I’m so glad you shared the A6 size. I really like the size, as it’s a nice step up without going to a full 5x7
I totally agree!
Just gorgeous cards. I generally make 5x7 or 6x6 so happy to see this. X
So very pretty!
Beautiful!!!
Lovely tutorial, Jennifer. Thank you for the idea about the inside stamping template!
The foiling on colored cardstock is so pretty. I just might cave soon and ask for the Glimmer machine for my birthday.
Oh, Jennifer, these are so beautiful!!
Beautiful cards Jennifer! Love the different sizes!
Oh wow, these are stunning. I can't wait to try this technique!
I always love your videos, and find them very inspiring. Thanks for sharing 😊
Great ideas. Thank you
A7 and A6 are my favorites! I struggle to do A2
Lovely!
I would love if Gina could make a Master layout for A6 cards!!!
I was going to say how pleased I am when you feature 5x7 but it looks like everyone else got there first lol.
It's fun to do difference sizes and 5x7 is a great size, I agree
Love your videos. Don’t have room for the foil machine, sadly.
Don’t wish to invest in a foil plate but thanks for the inspiration
Stamps and embossing powders are a great alternative
Stunning cards AND nails! What kind of polish is that? (The darker blue) I was trying not to get too distracted by them and focus on your card making 😂
Loved you interview with Tim Holtz and Aaron, it was so interesting. I just love all the cards. I haven't used my foil machine yet but you just inspired me. What weight of card is best to use ? I find it confusing that in the US you have different sizes ! our A2 size here 16.5" x 23.4 ". 💟
Hi Jennifer, always love ❤ your videos. These foiled cards are beautiful. I particularly like the navy with the white ink. I have a lot of foil dies mostly from spellbinder.. unfortunately I don’t have any of the stencils to go with them, as my funds are limited. 😢 I’m going to see if I can make my own stencils. Any suggestions? Thank you for all your videos. 🥰 from Cornwall UK 🇬🇧
If the card i make fits an envelope it is a miracle! Somehow my sizes are wonky, just like me!
Love the beautiful foiling. Stunning. Did I miss the link to the video where you talk about why you use layered die cuts or full pieces of foam to achieve dimension instead of the foam dots or strips?
I like to use layered die cuts because they go through the mail easier. And I can use up scraps.
Jennifer, what color is the beautiful silvery green that you used on some of the leaves on the A7 card?
I really love that color!
And I really love these gorgeous cards!
thanks for showing the different sizes. The A6 is, however , not the metric A6. The metric A6 is half an A4 folded in half and is 10.5 cm x 14.8cm approx (4 ⅛"x 5⅞") . In Australia, most of the cardstock we get is A4 and only imported card is a different size..... all very confusing for those crafters who don't get numbers
In this process, instead of a foiling plate, could you use a die-cut instead then place the embossing mat between the paper and the cutting plate before putting in the die cut machine?
Will Spellbinders ever sell the stencils for the Glimmering Buttercups? I have the die but I don’t have the stencil set!
❤
If you don’t have colored foam, you can color the edges of the foam after you cut it to fit.
good tip!
If you don't have he stencils is it easy to colour the flowers etc?💟
Can you use the big shot plus with the glimmer machine?
Does the gold matte catdstock fold ok? Wondering if the fold will crack. Can’t tell in the video. Thanks.
Love your video's, you are awesome! Is it possible to purchase ink stands , they make it so much easier ( so it seems) to ink
Yes you can! get them at inkstandshop.com
@@jennifermcguireink thank you
@@jennifermcguireink Thank you. I checked it out but with the Cdn exchange rate and shipping charge, unfortunately, too pricey..guess I'll sit it on a sticky mat so it doesn't move lol!
❤🎉❤🎉😊
Are you wearing the impress nails? Can you please share the color?
I'm not sure what it is. But in the future I will share this information on my nails
These are beautiful floral designs but without the matching stamps of the same designs, I can't enjoy them. I can't afford nor do I have the space for the glimmer machine.
It's really a pain.... that the American A6 is even more different to the European A6, than A2 is. I make all my cards in European A6, because A4 paper is way cheaper and easier to find than letter size. But then the nested and plate covers never fit 😢 our cards are 4.1" x 5.9", so less wide than A2 but taller and way smaller than American A6
As an European fan of your videos I always get confused by the american A-standard sizes. I looked it up: there’s no correspondence whatsoever between American and European A-size-measurements. Your smallest size is even smaller than the smallest size which is A6 in the European A-standards (4.1x5.8 inch) (well the width anyway). I’m often concerned this size is a bit tiny and therefore less impactful. It is refreshing to see you use that size often! Makes me rethink my perspective! As always: thank you for sharing! Your videos are much appreciated🙏🏻
I agree that it's a real pain that our A4 paper isn't the same as the American letter size paper. So their A2(A6) don't fit in our envelopes. However what I find the biggest problem is that their layering dies are the wrong proportion and won't centre nicely. I've found a TH-camr called Michelle Zindoft and she is great for not centering her toppers and is really worth checking out . Happy card making😀
In the USA the A2 size is generally our standard size. It is 5.5 x 4.25. One sheet of our standard size copy paper or card stock (which is 8.5 X 11) will make two cards. We can cut it in half vertically or horizontally to get 2 cards. A6 is generally 4.5 x 6.25 and A7 is the 5 x 7 cut. all in inches. I have noticed that European card makers do a lot of square cards. If we put square cards in square envelopes, we pay additional postage. So we could do square cards and put them in our standard A2 to A7 envelopes at regular postage. I don't do square cards because of the extra postage, but I should start doing them to fit our standard envelopes.
Where in Europe are you?
Love that blue card!❤ And i love that you use those other sizes, too. I use many different card sizes when i create.

Nina from Waffle Flower in a video posted 05 Jan 2024 discusses the measurements of their layering dies. And clarifies that the WFC A6 layering dies are not the equivalent of the EU/UK A6. Wish I'd known before I'd bought them, thinking they would make layering on A6 (UK) card blanks easier.
To add to card size confusion, the EU/UK A7 is actually half of our A6 ie 7.4 x 10.5 cm, roughly 3 x 4 inches. Not 5 x 7 inches.😂 Though we do get 5 x 7 card blanks.
I generally make 6 x 6 or 5 x 7, so good to see Jennifer and other YT content creators making 5 x 7
