Good Morning! The 1st couple always come out wonky til the pan is good. Cooking isnt ever perfect. I remember as a child watching Julia Child on PBS. She just embraced the wonky stuff and made us home chefs know to never expect perfection. I think you can always spot a seasoned real Chef by how they handle these moments. You made such delicious blueberry pancakes this morning & showed us what to do if one doesn't go as we expect. Thank you so much Chef Jeff! I am now hankering for blueberry pancakes! I grew up on Mrs. Butterworth but before that my grandmother taught me how to make syrup from scratch in a cast iron skillet without burning it..what a blessing it was to be taught how to cook at a very early age...now I can cook just about anything I want with great success Chef. We always had and old school stove with a griddle in the middle..hahaha thanks for the lesson!

I just made these delicious buttermilk pancakes-watching you, you used vegetable oil but your recipe called for 1/3 C melted butter… I used the melted butter, they were delicious & yes fluffy… Much much better then boxed or pre mixes, thank you for sharing

_I like Pancakes 🥞 and I love, love Blueberries 🫐. You’re absolutely correct about most people having all these ingredients as staples in their pantry. I even have a pack of Blueberries in the Frig. However, the one thing I haven’t purchased in a long time is - Buttermilk🤫Now, growing up, it was my Mom’s staple for most of her baked goods. I commented before, that watching your videos always reminds me of my Mom. One of her special Treats” for herself was after everyone had eaten dinner, she would go and get a slice of warm cornbread, place it in a bowl, pour buttermilk all over😋and enjoy. She absolutely loved the combination‼️Thanks again for bringing back a sweet memory_
😄 That's how my pancakes look if I use a ladle .. so I pour batter into a glass measuring cup to pour. I love the idea of placing 🫐 on top instead, plus I use a griddle. Yes, pancakes are very heavy, I'm good with one. Butter and powdered sugar. Thanks for sharing, enjoy your day! 🙏😊💕

Good video as usual. My great granddaddy used to use Karo light corn syrup on his pancakes. My grand uncle used butter and jam. I will use either one. Not a big fan of syrup.
Love blueberry pancakes 😋 I noticed some were saying they'd wait to get buttermilk. Well you can mix 1 cup milk(just shy of 1 cup) and add 1 TBS vinegar or lemon juice to milk, mix and let set 5 to 10 minutes and use. I don't always use 1 TBS most of the time just 1 1/2 tsp or vinegar or lemon juice.. Take it to your liking.. Now I've gotta see about making me some goodness 😋
