Georgia-born band leader Eddie 9V (Brooks Mason's alter ego) in earlier incarnations toured as The Georgia Flood, (Georgia Flood represented the Atlanta Blues Society in the International Blues Challenge in Memphis 2013), then as Preacherman, and later as the Brooks Mason Blues Band, and this November has released a studio album 'Saratoga' on the Ruf Record label, a collection of twelve Southern soul, blues, rock and funk songs. The band has just returned from touring in France and the UK and Eddie 9v chats with John Guregian for the WUML Radio show "Blues Deluxe" on Saturday December 14, 2024.
