    About five or ten years from now you’ll be taking orders for your “catamaran” costumers for so many catamarans . Hope that in the future if things start happening a lot more for you I hope you keep the camera on. For me I like that you have a dream. And you’re making it come true. Mostly by yourself too. I really do enjoy watching your videos so keep-em coming.

    I watch a couple build channels. You and Mike Patey are my favorites! Both have a ton of GSD going on. I have learned a ton from both.
    Watching your attention to detail is my favorite even when I think you have lost your mind. Then I see an episode from Sailing Parley.... now we know why you do it the way you do it. Not only will you have a proper vessel but one that will keep you and your family safe for decades to come.
    Thanks for sharing.. EVEN when it SUCKS.

    Well Ross, gotta tell you what I know about boats you could put on the end of a pin and have room left over. But I do know when I’m seeing some one who is a perfectionist and enjoys what he is doing. I thoroughly enjoy your videos thanks for your hard work

    I still think you are the only person that is building a plastic boat from mould to sailing tropical waters. You da Man Ross!
    I Also think that when your done with the hull and deck and start on the interior and rigging more people will subscribe to your channel.

    Been watching you for years now Roscoe and have just finished building my last house for my retirement in queensland and I take my hat off to you for your patience and fortitude, but do you know that our average male life span is now 81yrs old, HaHa.

    good gracious the enormity of this project really comes home when you see one person toiling away. I've seen videos of teams doing it and it looks doable. But this. You have my admirations for just taking one bite of the elephant at a time and cracking on. Brilliant example to me and others!

    Bead and cove the planking works even better to reduce voids but consumes / wastes a bit more foam in the milling process. Vac bag is also preferred for core install esp in complex areas where you cannot weight down sections.

    Hi Ross, Have you considered using a different colour for your headliner in the cabin cockpit? Newer boats are using silver and pewter coloured panels on the internal fitouts and this makes it look less industrial boat and more high end. But at no cost really.

    Ross I just want to commend you on the Trojan work you're doing here and have been doing.     Ross, your attention to detail is awesome. Why does it need so much crossed strand fiber glass in a window mullion, where I imagine the loads are mainly compressive rather than tensile? Wouldn't a wooden core work in that situation?

    Another great video Rossco. You should be closing in on 10 times the number of subscribers! Such a mental challenge to do things the proper way now, versus the extra work that will be required later. Those visible “could have done that better” bits, are what haunt you down the road and forever! 👍👍

    as you would see in parley revival, short cuts dont work so if you are going to it , do it right like they have !

    Could you have used the grid score with the scrim then just cut some triangular fillets to fill the void. It would have saved a lot of time than cutting and laying all the strips of foam. Then again you probably used up a lot of off cuts doing it the way you did lol.

    Hi Rossco have you watched what happened to Sailing parlay’s Lagoon 450 with cracked bulkheads ?
    Turn out it’s a big flaw in these boats
    Now wondering what forces are placed on the hull once the tension goes on the mast and it under a good hard wind 🌬
    You just need a colab to increase your subs quickly and a few mentions to draw new viewers

      Hey Garry, have been watching the guys toil over the bulkhead and many other issues. Would like a mention from them but these channels tend to be guarded when they reach a certain level and I feel I am being dragged along with all of the interest.     Ross as a sailor do you think an extremely rigid structure or one with some flexibility built in for an ocean going vessel is preferable to avoid any failure as someone who only uses power boats I’m quite interested in your opinion thanks in advance

    Hey Brother there is no other man like you😁 I would like to suggest some to you that will work better than those Whit Putty knives , Good for mixing Resins but suck for fillers Glue, mastic. You know those those 3”-4” auto body spreaders . Instead of wiping excess with a rag ,use one Spreader to wipe off excess easily, or you take a pair of scissors or tin snips cut the end to any radius easily, or for tight areas cut them 90% of the blade again 1” - 1 1/2” - 2” . No radius , or your desired radius. You will love them. Allow if you need a firm edge use the other Side .
    Try one you will never go back . The make all Jobs Super Fast

    Hmm.. "Complex Curves" (sounds like the missus). Well now we know why these things cost so much. Also, why can't you cut cuts fairly close so as you bend the foam the cuts close and then turn the foam upside down? Cheers mate 🍻

    Hi Professor Ross, did you add conduit in the structure to allow for wiring for lights etc? You’ve done awesome work!

      Hey Jeremey.I didn't add conduit as strucutre was pretty previse acvording to schedule,but I did think of a couple of areas where it could work.There had a section in the saloon roof that will carry conduit for strip lighting and a pellament that will secrete most wiring.otherwise lining will be applied and hide wiring where necessary.     Did your video mention using that material before:
    PVC Foam Core fiberglass, plywood fiberglass?
    Is there PVC FOAM CORE next to the factory wall?
    Has the use of silica aerosols been considered? It has similar thermal conductivity to polyurethane foam. But silica aerosol is too brittle, but it is really too light. Will silica aerosol be so beneficial for you to travel around the world?

    Tell us did you sand surface before laying that glass , because I see nothing but dirt around area and glass looks like not sanded for a good bond

      In an earlier episode he advised the mold is not set up for it. Plus he is working alone.

    Is that gun you using mixing poly resin for you?

      Sprays unsaturated resins,vinylester,polyesters and gel coats.External mix Graco gum gun ,adjustable catalyst up to 4percent at the machine pump.

    My question would be if you want a smooth finish around what your doing is great but why not also do your fairing in the mold before you extract it.. it seems to me it would not mater but it would be much easier working it that way rather then overhead “ just sayin “

      Great question David.Issue is that the deck will be joined to bulkheads partitions etc and would be difficult to ensure smooth transition ovwr tabbling till after these final tabs are made close to competion.Trying yo get close but sadly not close enough.Cheers Ross

    I don't know why you want to avoid filling gaps in voids between grid scored joins. The extra weight is negligible, and any resin mixture will be far less compressible than foam
    Foam it s ONLY "strong" in compression, and any sheer forces that would break filler compound in grooves , will shatter the surrounding foam anyway.

    I'm not sure you're actually working hard enough. Maybe you need to buy a bunch of those wrist and ankle weights from the gym, and add a couple of dozen kilograms to your limbs?
