What is the direction of air flow, I guess it’s from the engine toward the dash board?
On this car the airflow is down, but it is not like that on all cars.
@@RossPerryProductions okay, so on the filters on the side, one filter has an ‘R’ and the other one has an ‘L’. Also on the sides are arrows indicating the direction of airflow through the filters, I assume to assist with getting the filter fitted correctly. So air flow direction is either from engine toward the cabin, or from the cabin area toward the engine.
@@SuzanneCrawford-xy1eg My guess would be left and right when facing the glove box, the one I took out in the video was a nearly new car so that would have been how it was from the factory. Yes the direction of flow would be from the intake which is by the windscreen on the outside of the car through into the cabin.
Yes, I noticed the ‘R’ was upside down on the filter you removed.

I’m so sorry. I’m not sure how, but I landed up putting my comments and questions on the wrong video clip. I am meant to be commenting on the i20 2009 model video, where the pollen filter is behind the middle console … OMG 😆, can just imagine how silly I look now 🤭

What do the R and the L stand for ??
I am not sure where the L & R are ? are they on the lid or the filter?
@@RossPerryProductions I hear you, but these appear on the actual filters, and they go on top of one another, not side by side… so how is that a left right situation?? Apologies for my ignorance 🤭🤣. And thank you for your comments and video .
